I played with a woman who kept falling asleep at the table. The dealer would just shout her name out loud when it was her turn, and she'd jump up and immediately start acting. And it wasn't just when she was about to check or fold. She'd wake up and immediately raise. It was crazy.I and others were winning against her then, it must be crazy.
When I paid, seeing that at the table there are possibilities of trios, colors, ladder, and in other plays I have retired, then I realize that I am the winning hand.
Does heading back to the table from the ladies room with the rear hem of my skirt tucked into the waist band of my tights count? It was a full moon that afternoon.
(I call it doing a "Julia Sugarbaker" after what she did at a fashion show in an episode of Designing Women.)
