In one of the tournaments, I increased my stack well before the first break. Then the worst thing for me began. For forty minutes, only bad cards came into my hands. At this point, you need to be patient and not break down in a fit of anger at the coming bad cards.

I fold baby. And if I get under 15 big blinds, then that's okay. I can 3bet shove or just shove. Won't always win a shove but that's okay too. As long as you shove correctly over a large sample size, you should be gucci.

Good question

Sometimes its hard to decide what to do here. It depends a lot on a few things: how well you can read your opponents, how your playing, and place in the game. In the end you have to make your own choice. Its true that folding would be the safe move but you won't win waiting on a good hand..:jd4:

I believe it is critically important to always remain patient, regardless of the circumstances. Patience is usually well rewarded.

I am player that would rather exercise patience then rush into a bad hand along with a bad decision.

However, I have experience many times a good starting hand when short stacked does not translate to winning as the worst hand beats out the better hand.

As well when you don't have much chips you have to put it in with something or else even though you win a pot your stack might be to low to even get a playable return.

There are no bad cards in the deck any two cards can be a winner. A skill in Poker is to learn how to play with all cards of the deck and not just premium holdings.

You have to play like you have the nuts often times when you have nothing.

Good cards is a very broad statement. Every single person u have ever played poker with including my own self, is playing way way to damn tight.

Tight is right but you have to know WHEN to be tight, and when go get after your opponents.

Hello.
The answer to your question is obvious. If there are no good cards you do not need to do anything. Otherwise, your chances of a good result are significantly diminished.

Your position

if in in good position to bet out. I sometimes lead with a bet to see the strength of opponent hand. And then make decisions accordingly on further bets.

So friends alright
I wonder what you do when the good cards are gone from your hands, and there are only bad cards coming off without matching numbers and symbols?
You risk and flop with what you have, call middle pair and then what to do?
Do you rush or wait patiently for good cards because you think patience overcomes the curiosity of seeing a flop?

patience overcomes the curiosity of seeing a flop, waiting patiently for the good cards is what there is!
hit the tables bro!

I fold for quite a while, but when my stack no longer has much fold equity, I will push with a mid hand if necessary in position with no prior raises. Good luck.

That depends on the situation for sure. Also it depends on what cards are good for different people. Because sometimes you can fold lots of hands and even some suited connectors can be a good card. Anyway, you can always play good even a weak hand or try to bluff a little bit. Some people just wait everytime for top pairs and play only it and i,m not sure, that this is the best decision, but they still can win.

Depend on blinds you are playing, if u are playing low stakes, you can fold.

If u play medium stakes, you can bluff in position..

And later on, probably you have to choose good spots

Great advice here, it's tough to win if you don't have any chips left.

You cannot wait hoping for some good cards to fall in your lap. Sometimes you also need to bluff. Also consider your position at the table. Cards you first think are bad, may be not so bad considering that a lot of players already folded.

It depends a lot on players who seats with you at the table and how they are playing. Also what part of tournaments are going...
Usually you must wait, but sometimes if there is no raises before flop and you are BB why don't to see flop even with 27os :D sometimes miracles happen ;):D but be carefully.

Howdy Partner :O) I try to fold as long as I can and when I see that my stack is getting to be low. I start playing those bad cards with an occasional bluff or so and hope that some of those cards hit. Other then that we aren't meant to win them all. :O) Good luck out there and keep grinding

In such cases, I usually wait for good cards. I'm waiting, I'm waiting ... And at some point, especially when I see that my bank is starting to lose weight, I am already going into a game with bad cards and bluffing.
