Yes, it's easier to go all-in than raising with small stack and wondering if you'll hit the flop.

Existem muitas situações assim no poker. Você é um jogador que aposta tudo? Porque, por exemplo, você pode jogar AK de várias maneiras diferentes se não souber o que vai acontecer no flop.
I think everything depends on the actions of other people, on each player, how each one plays, if it's a table where there are players who pay with anything all the time then it's all on the table right

I like to push when I get an overpair, especially if the blinds are bad.

Depends on the effective stack depth, the villans, and the format.

It depends on the situation at the poker table. Typically, at the beginning of a tournament, this allows you to win a good pot. As the game progresses, many take risks, hoping to force other players to fold.

If you're on the bubble or about to make the final table, you have to go for it without fear. I'd rather get eliminated playing aggressively than see the flop and hit low pairs.

I only push or fold with a few BBs, otherwise I try to play my normal game.

I am an all in player, so many times I lose my internet, so not worth doing a raise, put it all in in case the internet goes down

Since I only play freerolls and don't study poker, I prefer to take risks preflop.

I think AK is one of those hands that can be played differently depending on the situation. I’m not always an all-in player with it, especially deep stacked. Position, stack sizes, and opponent tendencies matter a lot. Sometimes aggression is best, but other times controlling the pot and seeing the flop can make more sense.

Hello poker fans,

I play Ace-King (AK) with a lot of awareness of table dynamics and tournament stage — it’s not a hand I put on autopilot.

If I’m short-stacked (under 10BB), or calling commits a big chunk of my stack, I’m usually happy to shove pre-flop. AK has strong equity and fold equity in those spots, so I’m taking it down or flipping at worst.

With deeper stacks, I’ll typically open for 2–3x BB, adjusting based on stack sizes and table tendencies. Post-flop, I’m not just firing blindly — I’ll c-bet when the board favors my range, offers draws, or when I connect.

One move I like in the right spot is the stop-and-go — especially when I cover my opponent and want to maximize fold equity on the flop.

That said, AK can definitely be tricky. I’ve folded it plenty of times when the flop misses and the situation doesn’t justify continuing — especially against aggressive or unpredictable players. No need to torch chips chasing.

And yes… suited AK just feels better 😄

Biggest thing? I don’t overvalue it. It’s a premium hand, but it’s still just Ace-high until it improves. Too many players go broke playing it like it’s already made.

See you at the tables. ♠️
