The probability of people getting rich is very small. Lets say in 1 tournament there are 30thousand player. The one get good money is in 9 player on final table. Its 9/30000. As poker player you can do the math. Is it possible become rich by playing poker? Yes. But the probability will be near zero. Lol

I don't think you can become a wealthy person with poker. If a player has big wins, then very often he continues to play, trying to win even more. In the end, he either loses everything, or only a small part of the gain remains. Very rare players can control their winnings.

Everything is possible! Only in this you need to believe strongly, work hard on the game, study it, give it a lot of attention and strength.

Of Course You Can...

It just takes just requires six "easy" steps:

1. Cash $1 or more in a freeroll tournament
2. Invest that $1 in a game of your choice where you can win $10 or more, and win
3. Invest that $10 in a game of your choice where you can win $100 or more, and win
4. Invest that $100 in a game of your choice where you can win $1,000 or more, and win
5. Invest that $1,000 in a game of your choice where you can win $10,000 or more, and win
6. Go to Vegas, enter the WSOP Main Event, make the Final Table and Done $1,000,000+!

Of course, if you fail at any of the six steps, you go back to step 1. and start over, but realistically, you probably have a better chance of getting rich playing poker using this method, than the more widely accepted and promoted method of moving up in stakes as your success dictates.

And, Last but not Least, even if you fail, guess what? You have never lost a Penny along the way!

Heck, I have almost convinced myself, I might even try it!

Sure! We have a lot of successful examples. But as in any other business, you have to work hard to achieve remarkable result. Poker does stand still, so not to be late you should improve your game level and, of course, follow basic bankroll management rules.

I would not invest energy into trying to become rich, especially now, it is a great game and yes, you can utilize a lot of skill, but the competition is now pretty insane, I just love the game, but not looking to become rich off it, just make some good money from people that have never picked up a poker book

There are better things to do in life than to try and become a "rich" person in poker lol

Here is a good reference video of what NOT to do. And yeah, I never mess with sports betting, or any other "leak" game in the casino, because folks, that ish is gambling.
If I play a leak game, it is knowing my money is gone the second I play and I do it for entertainment, the same way I spend on watching netflix.

Yup Gus Hansen is playing in Bobby's room these days where you can actually make real money. Doubt I will ever play in Bobby's room as I will never have the bankroll for it, but it sure beats playing online for money, even if you are super skilled lol
