Everyone in my family approves of poker.
If it had been different, I probably wouldn't have played, the support of the family is very important.

My family backs me because they realize the release I get from playing. I am in a wheelchair so it is an extra outlet I get.

Thankfully my parents have been nothing but supportive with me playing poker. Granted I don't play for very high stakes so my financial picture isn't ever jeopardized but they can see the enjoyment I get out of it and thus don't have a problem with it.


(We just won't tell them about all the money I lost when I was a teenager)

Some members of the family, they frowned on me playing too much. I toned it down, play lesser amounts of poker and have accepted the fact that a lot of times your family is right, and that their input is correct, and helpful.
