4 cards of a straight off the flop

It depends.
I usually raise this hand (even getting all in if my opponent can fold to major pressure), but I may chase if the situation is right, or fold if I think I will note win enough $$ to cover all the times I lose.

What is the right play when you have 4 cards of a straight off the flop? (eg: 6 7 8 9) 2 cards will hit the straight (5 or 10) Do you stay in trying to get the straight? Or is this a low percentage sucker bet? (Odds are, you’ll end up with nothing)

I just learned pot odds/equity, so let me try on this one.
8 outs means 16% pot equity.
I guess it all depends on the pot and amount to call....
pot odds = call amount / total pot + call amount

So, if the pot is $100 and someone raises $10,
Pot odds = 10 / 120 = 8%
