While aces are great they are not a lock to win. 82% or so of the time you win a hand. Yes variance can be brutal but if your losing more you need to ask why? Yes we have the best hand preflop, on the flop its just a pair. How many times have i flopped a set or 2 pair and just watch the player with aces and on raising and 4 betting flop and turn and jaming the river for 150 or 200BB and seem shocked when the lost. At what point did they stop and ask hey he is willing to go broke and could he have me beat? Nope he has the nuts as there aces. A frind on mine once complained about his aces and losses. One of the hands he showed me he was in the BB with aces and 5 people were in the hand when he checked his option. He was all in on the flops and shock to lose. He would not admit he made a mistake just checking his option.

I have never experienced problems when I was dealt aces, on average I lose one hand out of five or even less, the most simple playing cards, no need to invent anything

I can't count for sure, but with 5 people, what is the percentage of aces to win?maybe less than 30 or so...?

I dont know the exact number but when we looks at the hand and I showed him it was about 23% he looked shocked.

many people think that this hand loses very, very rarely, as I once did :)
I hope your friend will watch video courses or read a book about poker

Maybe when you have AA you play it slow, avoid doing that and you'll see how the result changes

Are you using tracking software to review all of your AA hands? Also, how many AA hands are you referring to? It would be helpful to see the number of hands you've reviewed and how you played them pre and post flop to see why you're losing as 100% is statistically significant for more than a few instances of AA.

AA loses 20% of the time in NLHE & 60% of the time in PLO.

This happens to anyone. Despite the difficulty to fold aces, when we get in a multi-way pot we should bear in mind AA could easily turn underdog.

But in this case, 22, at an all in battle, the third 2 may come just as the third ace does, still considering aces are stronger than any other pair, if no board matchings. This is the lucky side.

Premium hands cannot always win, but they must be played aggressively. Any card cannot guarantee victory in a particular hand. This is poker.

It happens very often. It's poker and AA is not invincible hand.

1st Point. Tournament buy-in. Tournaments with high buy in select opponents, good opponents don't pay all the time to see a card, but micro buy in and freeroll pay with anything.

2nd Point. How many oponentes are likely to be involved in the hand.

3rd Point. The value you impose to see the flop, do you charge your opponents dearly or do you charge cheaply?

4°Point. Tournament phases, beginning, middle or end?

Generally close to the ITM bubble you will find a smaller amount of opponents willing to pay to see the flop. In case the buy in is high, against one or two opponents and you have charged an expensive price for the opponents to see the flop and you are close to the bubble and this happens, you can always be sure that you turned the corner and did not see it but stepped on a dispatch , go try to cross yourself my son kkkkkkk🤣😂😵‍💫unlucky

If you made a big enough raise pre-flop, you might have chased the pocket 2s out of the running, the biggest trap of playing pocket Aces is falling in love with them and not being able to fold.
One hand I was involved with, a player raised pre-flop on my BB so I re-raised to a pot sized bet which was about half our stacks saying "that should tell you what I am holding " he called, and 2 hearts flopped on the table, I immediately pushed all in because basically I was committed to taking down that pot one way or another, he shocked me by calling with the 10/Queen of Hearts, he didn't even consider that I could be holding the Ace of Hearts, 2 Black cards hit the turn and River and he was out.
I love fish!

I think if you lose all the time, as you say, then you launch weak hands too easily try not to start your hands like doubles try to bet a big bet so AK AQ AJ A10 will go against you and you will have a better chance and if you lose 80% to 20% it will be very rare so don't worry there's nothing you can't do this poker

In the game of poker, we have the infamous "variance". Unfortunately if we are playing AA correctly, most of the time we can be ahead in a poker hand, but a worse hand from our opponent can beat us, because of the variance.

Didn't read all comments so apologies if you've already been told this before but, and here it goes.

If you lose with Aces all or most of the time then you are playing them wrong. AA does not entitle you to a certain win. The most it does is an 80% preflop against an opponent with KK. Bit higher against other cards, However, against multiple players with trash hands, you will lose most of the time because comeone is really bound to connect in a way that beats your one pair. It's you with a shotgun against an army with knives.

Get your numbers right and then you can turn your luck around. It's a tough game, but you can make it easy for yourself or tougher, depending on your mindset, attitude and effort you put in.

of course with AA to lose unpleasant, but we need to adapt to the fact that the basis of winning in poker is a combination of all the cards, I myself was angry when yesterday on AA lost on the flop 22 immediately 2 ((((although I went all-in, and before the flop he zakolluv 22

I already once told myself that I would play allin when I see all the cards, but in reality it is not possible, poker is a game and luck
