How do you feel when you fold pre-flop - and then the flop would have been the nuts?

Just depends on how good my hand was. If I fold preflop and got 3 or 4 bet off a good hand then a little tilted, but if it was like 73 off suit and flop a boat then not really.

I get a lot of anger in situations where players go all-in ------ I fold pre-flop 9-10 - 8-9 - 76 5-4 and other cards - and the flop falls in my side and I could win on my small cards, I'm very upset in such situations, it's poker and different moments can be in the game!

I am very angry in this situation. But in reality, such cases are rare. And if you think about how many times you will lose in such a case when you want to see the flop with a not very good hand. That anger goes away. Always need to remain calm.

Outcome of any particular hand is irrelevant to me. If it was the right decision then that is all I care about. Have to think long term. So with that I feel the same way when I would have flopped the nuts as I do when it would have completely missed me.... happy I made the right decision to fold pre flop.

I remind myself that I had a good reason to fold preflop. If I didn't have a good reason to fold then maybe I shouldn't be playing.

I can remember one time when I sat at a table and noticed that all the junk hands I was folding were smashing the flop and board. 83 24 it didn't matter. And not just winning the hand by a notch or hit a 3 on the board vs. AK that doesn't hit....

83 would flop 833 - A8 bets the heck out of this board
24 flops a wheel - Overpair bets the heck out of this board

It was just nonstop. Got to the point I would raise OOP with the confidence that the board would treat me well. And it did.....all day long. It was ridiculous!

Table was not happy and they let me know. They either busted or table changed to get out of my way. Some stuck around to find a spot to double-up through me knowing that my luck would run out.

this should not bother you so much as just for starters your nut flush can quite possibly turn into your opponents straight flush, its clearly not the most likely of outcomes but there is still a chance and thats only one reason to call this an accepted fold.

Very disappointed. Frustrated if I did it when a donk who keeps shoving had gone in.

in such situations, I feel like a complete loser, well, unless it's 72)

Do not be sad. Because the game does not end there. We have to play again and not make hasty decisions. Everything that happened - all the better

Depends. If I folded 86 of hearts to 3 and 4 bets, and the flop is 579 of hearts then I am ok.

I've folded a bunch of 72s only for the flop to have plenty of 7s and/or 2s. It happens. Doesn't mean I should be playing 72 cuz I have a "good feeling."

I try to forget it, when you told at that time you believed that your opponent had you beat and they probably did. So as long as I was beat when I folded I believe I made the right decision. But yeah I think about all my chips that now are with someone else for a little while when the river would of been the nutz:)

I fold cards that shouldn’t be played, I.e. out of position, facing a three bet.

So regardless of how the flop or board turns out. I feel satisfied that I made the correct play. You can not let a certain hand or results Change the way you play.

Generally good, because the way I look at it, the random number generator would have most likely brought different cards if I would not have folded.

I am happy, and I analyze the players who paid me the game, and I decide the amount of the bet I will make!

Well, I don't care. One exception.. I folded a royal flush.. once. That made me sad. Really, really sad.

if I did a good fold and then single out a magic flop I'll feel good because I played the hand well and long term I will be more profitable to fold those hands

Once You folded You shouldnt be bothered at all by what comes up...
And in many cases You will find out that your fold was excellent when the river has been dealt... Cause Your "monster" on the flop is beaten by then.

It doesn't bother me. You play poker with the information that you have at the time.

Publisher's Clearing House could come knock on my door tomorrow, but that doesn't cause me to toss my retirement money on my perpetually unemployed cousin's next business venture.

it sucks, but usually I made the right call to begin with so I try not to let it affect my play
