You can always set all-in, so as not to think later after the flop. in that situation there may be a bluff, and maybe a pair of 9-9 and higher. it is important to think about how a player plays - to possess information about him (not only that he is an aggressor), but generally an aggressive game is either to dramatically increase the stack or lose everything

It’s all about conditioning. He is conditioning you to fear. To fold.

So your advantage is you know his tendencies. He is going to club you with a big stack. You are effectively giving positive reinforcement. He bets, you fold. You raise , he re-raises, you fold. At this point the cards have taken a back seat.

These small deposits can pay dividends when you exploit his habits. When you get a hand. Or a flop even a modest one and strike back it changes the dynamic. The fear is put in him now. You are not the typical nit. But a formidable threat.
