Continuation bet is def must try, I mean you are repping more thn just those hands, all sorts of over pairs and so on. C-betting means you are controlling the play and perhaps you can hit as well. You can always use your position to your advantage.

Depends also on the buy-in and the level of your opponents. It looks like in micro and low buy-in, some players (mainly beginners) tend to call almost everything which makes any bluff, and even C-bet, really risky for example.

What are the situations in which you should play if you don't hit the flop, is it worth betting?
It all depends on whether the flop fell: wood-fired or dry.

True, though I have noticed recently a real flood of donkey calling stations. Of course it's good for profits when they have no luck, it's also annoying.

I tend to bet when there are backdoor draws and blockers to villains continuing range or else check down and try to realise equity with A high.

in the situation where only one player called the bet, even if we don't hit the flop, we can make a big cbet to make our opponent fold

First it depends on the size of your stack, I learned that in online poker you can't do what you do in person, as it changes the dynamics and analysis of the players, so with AK, AQ or AJ, I C-BET post flop only in positions ( HJ, CO, BT), otherwise you are subject to being raised.

I never miss the opportunity to raise, even if I brick. Make the opponent pay dearly to see the next card.

This will depend on your position at the table and the position of your opponent.
I see many players who raise on BB and end up hitting a medium pair and will pay any c-bet. With Ax I think it is only worth it if there is a chance of a flush.
