Hyper turbo is definetelly not my game but if i play it, i must win couple of all ins on the early stage and wisely manage my stack. That's the only way i use to play this tournament.

I play push or fold in this tournaments, unless i have tripled my stack size, thats when i can slow down. Never limp at 12bb, just go all in with a wide range, for example suited connectors, 67s+. Play a hand, not a position in those tournaments, if utg goes all in, call with 67s from any position.

I try to double up several times in short order. Once you have a sufficient stack you can tighten up again...unless it is one of those freerolls with rebuys, if you have decent cards you can take 5000 chips from one player who just keeps rebuying each hand after all in all the time. I never use the rebuy or add on with these games.

Variance will be extremely wide. Hyper turbos have huge variance.
Ive won live hyper turbo for $10k. I got extremely lucky. Got dealt good hands, all my hands held up. Its mostly luck of what youre dealt. How you play them is the skill. No matter how skilled you are, if you are dealt crap throughout any short period time of the tournament, ur chances of winning diminish. Simple as that.

Since everyone is going all in every next hand you should have tighter range like AK, AQ, AJ, 55+,
Also play the position if UTG goes all in dont call with KQ on MP you will have less equity since others might call as well.
Mostly in hyper turbo tournaments luck plays a huge role so goodluck…

Stay away from playing with maniacs, at first try to play with good hands, then you expand the range, if monsters come ollin (there are always people who want everything at once).... The main thing is to build up a stack to play for prizes, and then you wait only for good hands....
