If someone acts crazy before like they have kk or AA or even QQ if the flop is not cheap I'll fold.

folding AK pre-flop

Definitely, I would depending on the situation of the hand. If I am close to the money and forced to go all-in, in a tough position, yes, I would fold.

I fold a weak pair too...if called all-in pre-flop. It just depends.

Yes,

There are often spots (especially in tournaments) where AK won't have much equity in a potential multiway pot. No need to give examples as there are many.

Sometimes I fold even KK which is almost same strong as AK that’s why AK can be folded also

KK is actually much stronger than AK.... & only Phil Helmuth folds KK preflop.

Hello everyone! The AK situation can be difficult sometimes. I rarely fold it, but when the prizes are coming soon, then you have to look at your stack, positions at the table, if things are not very good, then I fold AK immediately, I don't think for a long time.

Very rarely, but I remember folding an AK when an opponent raised all-in pre-flop.

Yes, I'll fold them once in a while, especially in early position if there has been a raise and a re raise. Even against pocket 2's you would still be behind.

I already let go of that hand like other hands also in circumstances of improving the prize pool or being a tournament bubble or a qualifying ticket bubble. Already in sit go of 18 and 24 and 36 K.O players. don't let go of this hand in this is all in without mercy

I have done the same on many occasions.

Yes I would fold it if someone was going all in, I don't consider it to be that great unless it's of the same suite then it becomes hard to fold.

In most cases no, but sometimes in the bubble I would consider folding against a large raise preflop.

I gotta say, I have done this a rare couple of times in poker tournaments, only because I'm so close to being paid in the tournament that I don't want to risk losing to a subpar hand. Anyone else done this? Or if you haven't, what was the toughest fold you made in a game pre-flop?

Yes I have done the same! it all depends on where I am at in the tournament.

akoff is a great hand in tourneys when the blinds go up

but much of its leverage is gained when you can pick up those extra blinds and antes by open shoving or 3 bet shoving to force a fold .once 1 or decent sized stacks have committed allin its often just another drawing hand ! i muck it regularly in satellites, at bubbles + pay jumps , and when its clear a conservative player ( or 2 ) is willing to get all the chips into the middle . of course , when you have others covered , and plenty of chips behind, its usually a call .

I fold A K often!!! I hate A K when the blinds get up there especially online for if I dont catch 1 or the other 2 2 has it dominated!! Later in a tourney I look at A K as nothing but a trap!!:D:D

I would definitely not double, with AK, or in first position, much less call, or clear in first position, it has to be an increase from 3 to 3.5, and in final position, it can be ALL-IN after seeing the flop, in case that you connect the highest pair on the table. :D

Yes.. simply if someone off the bat is all in.. I'm guessing they have pockets.. I'd hate for them to have 2 of 1 of the cards I was looking for..and me tryna chase that ..easy fold

but every time when I have KK I lose it, there is always some Ace on the flop and it ruins your hand lol

There are situations (ICM) at the pre-final and final tables when icmizer will advise you to fold with AK if there are short stacks and significant spikes in prize money.
