In fact, I only play online poker. And I do not use anything as a card protector. I do not think it is necessary.
Good luck.

I use a card guard when I play live. It is both as a means to make sure the dealer does not accidentally take my cards, and it is a lucky charm, since my wife bought it for me as a gift.

I have never played online poker, and I do not use the Card Defender, but I think I need to put the chip on my cards.

card guard

i use chips most of the time. i dont want to get sucked into having a lucky charm. ive done it before and i dont like the feeling that i need something other than my skills to help me win.

I use my hand or a stack of chips. I don't need luck because I got skill.

I have this metal play coin that looks like old "Crusader" currency that I got in a bath bomb a long time ago that I use. It's surprisingly heavy and it's just "junk", but I like the feel of it. Kept it like a talisman in my purse for the longest before using it.

This is my favourite answer from the many card protector threads on CC. The bath bomb faux antique coin - not only is it unique as a card protector, it is also flat and weighty - it has all the important characteristics. Are you sure it's not highly compressed bubble bath that just "feels" like metal? Don't play in the rain!

I use an old TR King (manufacturer) poker chip from an illegal casino in the SW US:

Haha! No, it's definitely metal -- had it dinging around in my purse for a long time. Came from this: https://www.ulta.com/treasure-bomb-...MIzqSBsbD22gIVARlpCh3CrAfBEAQYAiABEgK1D_D_BwE

If the card guard gives you luck, fine. However, the most dealers are trained to be fast. In this sense, i think that the card guard is more to protect of the dealer.

I don't use a card protector as a good luck charm. I just use a stack of my chips as a card protector.

If you're looking for a card protector like no other, there is an American artist that will hand-make
one for you. Many know of him and many don't but if you just want to see some nice stuff go to http://www.facebook.com/CactusClark and scroll down past the cheaper items to view some pretty amazing Custom made items.

He has made thousands and thousands.

I have never used any real card protectors instead of a chip from my stack. I should get a fancy one soon.

Ah yes, that's a nice one, It's very special to the person that owns it.
One of a kind. Ah on a side note "mtl" no offense intended but, you might need to have that hemorrhoid in your photo looked at by a professional as soon as possible I'm no expert but it looks serious bud. Sometimes people let medical problems go till it to late. Hope you're safe.

I have a card protect that I use when I play Live. It's orange and white like the SU colors with a magnetic S coin in the center. It's pretty sweet
