In the old poker tables, especially in the Wild West, cheating was something almost everyday hahahaha but it was fixed with the shots.
In my case I never liked cheating. I have played many sports and I have always done so loyally.
In poker, if I knew that online there is a minimal possibility that I would be cheated playing, I would not play anymore.
In the case of live poker it may be possible to do it, there are some cases that were detected and are coming to light because in truth the person who cheats has a problem, they are blind to how easy it is for them to win money, so they do not stop . Every day they want more, more and more, and there they detect them.
In truth, not for a penny of the dollar would I sell my honor in the face of a possibility of cheating.
Regarding the comment I read about bluffing, bluffing in the game is not cheating, it's just another part of the game. Cheating would be online to have a software where I can see the cards I face and see what is bluffing me, that's different.

Well isn't bluffing a form of cheating trying to win with the worst hand. We all cheat a little just not flat out cheating.

Just curious, how do you arrive at the conclusion that bluffing is cheating?

Considering I play for the thrill of the victory, there is no way I would cheat in the game. I also morally would not want to do that. I have played a lot of live poker and happy to say my reputation is really good when it come to honesty. I played in a casino one time and told the dealer I saw one of the players cards dealt for sure and probably the 2nd one as well but not 100% sure. Floor was called and the floor man had me tell them privately what the card was I saw, I told him both cards and much to the shock of the players I was dead on. the dealer was throwing the cards in a arc and I could see it when he threw the cards to seat 4. Honesty is the best policy.

No. I believe that life is a school of cause and consequence and therefore you can't do pretty much anything to other people. All you're doing you're doing it to yourself, as it is gonna return back to you. It's a time lag, a lack of awareness and ability to see that everything is connected which all create an illusion that you got away with no consequences and "cheated" someone. This "someone" is always you, period.
