Everyone's favorite pair is AA because it is the strongest. Now, in Poker, if you wait for AA to play you will leave the tournament before it arrives. And when it arrives, there is no guarantee of anything. So it's just a strong starting hand. Don't overvalue anything preflop.

I can see that everyone has their own preferences regarding your question. I see that there are players who, for example, have a pair of 88, or a pair of 66, or even 22 as their favourite pocket pair. And it looks quite strange. 1010 biggest wins in tourneys kk vs aa quad kings on flop best win cash both live not online....biggest win online tourney was set of 2s for the win tournament lasted 2 days so was great ending was on live sport tv in uk.....emmm fav starters is 57 suited to play around with ....fav starting hand aa black of course ...cash online was actually ak vs 98 was royal to straight flush crusher...for a mint of money lol
