For me, I think that anonymous poker is bad for poker since it makes the game more of a gamble. Knowing your opponent adds more skill to the game and makes it more dynamic. Go to your local casino enough, or watch a SHR, and you see the same opponents. You make a mental HUD / notes on the regs, and adjust accordingly. Anonymous poker takes that away.
