Happens 75% of the time, nothing you can do and it pisses me off every time.

The surrounding players feel that you have good cards. For example, make 3 bets from a UTG position with suited connectors and when everyone folds, then show your cards. You will be called more often after this audacious act. Getting the blinds is not the worst thing. That's when the opponent gets an unreadable set on the flop, it's already trouble and ruin for AA.

The original poster was talking about everybody folding pre-flop. And it is, indeed, amazing how many times. holding AA in the big blind, I see every player folding pre-flop. I suppose that just shows how often players will bet with a bare Ace.
