If there is no chat and if the communication emotions are as strange as they are in some poker sites, names do matter.

I love funny poker names because they game more human and fun. Online poker is a it like a quiet room many times. That’s why it is nice to see playful, strange and imaginative names. I especially like humorous name with pokerish theme. Some of my favorites:

Interesting thread. There are definitely some creative and funny screen names out there. It’s always entertaining to notice them while playing, even if most of the time the focus stays on the game itself.

One of my favorites are the screen names that are clever without trying too hard. I remember seeing names like “CheckRaiseRepeat” and “FoldToWin”, which always made me smile because they sound like actual poker advice.

I also like humorous or ironic names—something like “DefinitelyBluffing” or “AllInWithAir”—because they make you second-guess every decision against them. Sometimes a good screen name sets the tone for the whole table.
