In principle, I do not prepare myself before the match. The main thing is to be rested and calm before the game)

I try multiple things to find a away where I can remain calm and not frustrated to certain hands. Listening to music or having sweets keep me from not being overly aggressive when I shouldn't be and has me stop what I'm doing to think more rationally.

No ritual, if you find me the most comfortable place in the house, put a few beers to chill and that's it!

Depends on the tourney - recently I start getting the "brain fuel" drinks, and they may not be the best taste, but they do help me stay focused for the long Sundays grinds. Also, I usually skim over the preflop charts for the tourney type I'm playing and go over my notes from my last sessions (the good, the bad, and the ugly. I also skim over my monthly notes that I'm working on (found leaks from monthly recap and studies. And there are sessions when I just want to play, and populate new data for me :)

I usually read a little beforehand, to feel more relaxed and focused, have a cup of coffee and if I'm feeling well, sit down to play. I avoid playing when I'm stressed or nervous, it just makes me lose money, every time.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, 1966 is a good movie, one everyman should watch, indeed.

Ive started watching the Poker Stars videos on Instagram. I kid you not, they have really taught me ways where i am going wrong and also the ability to ‘believe in my hands’.

I always try to study a little, review hands from the day before, do some simulations.

You need to relax. If you play with tension, you accept mistakes. During an important tournament you need to think about something easy, simple.

How do I prepare for tournaments?

Hello everyone! I try to participate in tournaments when I have free time. Before a tournament with a monetary reward, I train in tournaments for conditional chips. So, when the time comes for an important tournament for me, I feel more confident.:deal:

Usually I don't have a specific ritual for each tournament that I'm going to start, but being seated, focused and with a glass of water at your side is always important to me.

if this is an online session, then no special rituals are needed, you sit down at the computer and calmly play a regular session, it is advisable only to get a good sleep before that and it is advisable to exclude alcohol during the game, as this can negatively affect the result

It is better not to take alcohol at all a month before the game. Be sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep. And a little bit of physical activity, push-ups and squats will do.
