How many mouse do you break in a year while playing poker?

ive trained myself to smash my hand on the side of the mouse on the mousepad. i keep a kettlebell weight next to my computer when i get pissed and just pump it a few times

I don't know your particular setup, but If you have a working HDD in your PC while you hit things in close proximity, the sudden shock may cause a head crash. The violent destruction of the mouse on the table can cause this too. It's wise to avoid any sudden shocks around your PC if you care about data loss.

Good question! I would say it is a fair bet that all poker players experience the frustration of a cooler or worse getting sucked out on with runner, runner. Another thing you must know about poker players, it is often hard to get an honest answer in many situations. I cannot even tell you how many times I have seen adults act like children in the casino, playing live poker. I can only imagine what happens when they are at home with no one watching.

In my case, even when I am at my most frustrated, I have never decided to destroy my property, if I really thought it would make me feel better, I would probably do it often. The closest I have come would be to pick my mouse up, as I yell at the computer, but I have never damaged any of my equipment. Even as a much younger version of myself. The younger me did have a bit of a temper, I am glad that I never went down this road. I would probably have boxes of damaged goods!

Generally, I am curious, how often and how much do you spend for computer equipments, related to playing online poker? What do you buy, why?

Within a year, I spent about 180-200$, mouses, head-set. Never would buy the expensive silent ones, if I wouldn't play poker regularly. (Fortunately, the hard-drive had guarantee.)

Have you ever broken any tech, comp stuff because of poker made you upset?
(As I 'executed' one of the mouses, because of some unbelievable river 1-3 outs 'bad-beat' series...)

I was using razer material for years but they broke often.
I had enough and once my razer mouse broke I switched to Logitech G600.
Then I replace my keyboard to a G910 and my headset to a g432, so far I dont have anymore issue.

To be honest you don't need a good computer, I am using a 10 years old laptop as backup if power cut and everything run smooth in worse case scenario.

I guess its just confort

Yes, I broke one, but it was a long time ago when I first started playing poker. He has a 200K euro 99 tournament bubble, I have KK. He has a set on the flop, I have a flush on the turn and a full house on the river. don't forget these days.
