Honestly, it really depends on each person. Most of us here are recreational players with other priorities in life. Sometimes I’ll play small tournaments every day for a week, but other times I feel burned out by the time it takes and decide to take a break for a few days, maybe three or five, and then come back more motivated. It all depends on your personal situation, just take breaks whenever you feel you need them.

I usually take a break when necessary. But basically, I look forward to every evening to participate in my favourite tournaments, and if the game has to be postponed for one reason or another, it always upsets me.

Due to the German government's regulatory frenzy, which also affects online poker, players based in Germany receive no rakeback at all or only reduced rakeback as ROW players, depending on the provider.
Although I have plenty of time, I take longer breaks for this reason and perhaps play only 5% of the volume that I actually could.

The regulations that exist in Germany are extremely demotivating, and I don't see why I should fill the pockets of this shitty government as well.
