I don't spend money on the game. Poker brings me income, which I unfortunately usually spend on slots. I don't really care about variance because I follow bankroll management and almost always play only with the money I managed to win in freerolls.

What do you mean what is profitable does not go hand in hand with that ? iam still profitable, and i would argue getting it in being a good favorite to win the hand isnt that bad if people tend to call with 20-30% equity.

Kind of a weird question, since the whole implication of variance is, that results can never be "consistent" at least not in the short to medium term.

Variance is the only constant in poker. It will always be same in poker now & in the future. Otherwise, there will always be the same winner.
