What you really mean, is, that you could not beat the rake and the other players. No need to be ashamed of that. But micro and low stakes SnGs are absolutely beatable, as my own graph on pokerstars demonstrate. So you could also give it another try. Take it a bit more serious and put some time and effort into studying. Our free course is a good place to begin. Its actually created by two SnG specialists.

If a person stops playing for money because….. they should not even play in freerolls because they also involve money. There are a lot of sites that use play money only.

Bots are always a problem in lesser-known rooms, which is why you should play in more reputable rooms; they invest more in security on their platforms.

As for that video I think, the guy making it got bots on his brain to some extend. I am not convinced, they are such a widespread problem on well known poker sites in 2025, and some of the experiences, he is talking about, might be from 15 or 20 years ago. I certainly would not recommend people to spend time and energy looking for bots or finding ways to exploit them. Look for weak players instead and dont play in games, where there are not enough of them.

Some we're pretending bots are a new thing? Wrong they've been around at as long as I've been playing 20+ years....so basically you've never been a winning player that has cashed out and spent his money. No shame in that online poker isn't easy and it takes more hard work then the majority of people do at their day jobs by quite a bit. And the vast majority of players are losing players.

Btw if I was running a bot the last thing I'd have it playing is SnG. So if buddy is stupid enough to have his bot playing SnG he surely doesn't even have a good bot.

I much bigger problem then bots and EVERY room has it is collusion and it's almost impossible to stop.

The top rooms themselves launch bots in major tournaments, where big money is involved.

I don't believe that GG launch bots themselves, and not because they are kind and care about players, but because they will make more money in a long run if they keep their good reputation.

its not just the bots but the collusion and nonsense in sngs.

nor am a fan of playing limit cash games online for the same reason unless maybe hu at a table.

then like magic, others show up when someone's been sitting for "awhile" all by themselves, lol,

its been that way forever. its not just the bots. online stuff has been shady forever. its just entertainment at best.

best to just play online stuff for training, lol. a sim is better lol since you dont have to deal with any of that nonsense lol and you can get better at games.

when you had the companies themselves messing with customers (and how many of those major sites were doing that? lol) then you still have to deal with the cheaters and ppl are still delusional or in their own little world to what online poker is.
