If your luck is 2%, mine is probably running on dial-up internet—disconnecting right before I hit a full house. 😅

Bad players don’t capitalize on luck. Sharp players embrace and maximize on luck.

luck is needed no matter what hand you play. I have been entering step satellites on gg poker lately. In the last 3 weeks I have played 24 x $2.50 buy ins to win a seat and recorded hand that busted me. Of the 24 satellites zero wins. 17 of the 24 times I busted out I had the best hand going in and lost all 17. Also didn't have luck with the ones I was behind because I lost those races also. Hand like top set with a dry board and I lose again. My last one was flopping nut straight and AKQJ10. Villain called all in with J2 suited and went runner runner to beat me with flush. Whoever said getting it in good would reward you is bs. I blame the shove bingo that these satellite's are and really really bad luck. I am so tired i am walking away from poker for a good long while.

I have been playing poker for 25 years and crushed poker stars tournaments with a long line of wins and on gg I cant win

grrrr time for a break

In poker there is a small percentage of luck and the rest is the player's skill.

Luck: Nobody knows when she'd left nor when she'll come. We should be patience and calm to wait.

Skill is not involved when the cards are being dealt, since you do not know what cards you will get.
Skill is also not necessary when deciding preflop to push or call an all-in, since many players (good or bad) can and do with any two cards.
Skill is not a factor when two players are all in preflop since it is strictly luck with no decision to be made postflop.
However, skill is required in many other situations when deciding how to play your hand.
Can you really calculate the percentage of luck vs. skill with all the possibilities abound?

My poker is luck yes, but you can “shape” that luck in your favor, or at least appear to be lucky when you go all in with nothing, of course, in a thoughtful, calculated and meaningful way

Yes, you get lucky in poker online. Just like any fraudulent bet site, poker online will give you wins in your initial days playing poker to make you addicted and stimulate deposits. After you get caught into their net, they'll start to shift that luck in a very short period of time.

Its called "RIGGED GAMES".

You have to think that poker is more than just luck, when you achieve that, you will have the expected returns. Embrace
Those comments are tilting brother:

He is literally complaining about not having/getting expected returns, his thoughts won't change reality/the outcome at all. If the money goes in good and you keep loosing(which seems to be what's happening to like 80%. of the player base) the problem is not with you.

Embrace variance yes, but if variance goes only one way it's not variance at all because variance is variable friend

In a world where wars are raging, people are using drugs, and other terrible things are happening, I have a favorite game that brings me joy. I'm 100% lucky.

Think this is the best answer. You need some luck on the table.

Poker is a game of skill. Is there luck in the short term of a single hand? yes there is but it does not make it a game of luck. There is luck in just about anything we do on a daily basics.

YEAH YEAH, SKILL. FOR SURE. That's why I lost today! Skill. I didn't have the "skill" to flop QUADS as my opponent did.
Do you wanna guest what hand I had? AK. Of course. The number 1 hand used as trap for poker sites nowadays.

Skill. SURE.

"a small percentage"

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Brah, are you reading yourself? :poop:

Is that why you play 5~10 games to win once? Cause its just a small percentage...
Well, then there's something really wrong with your skills right? :ROFLMAO:
KKKKKK OMG MAN, people are weird...

Do you see now, why I doubt it? This is the exact same person that will later on assure you that pokers sites are legit.
Now, how can anyone ever trust this "source"? You tell me.

How much would you say my fellow scientist? 5%? 10%? 15%?
Please, enlighten me with your expertise.

I can't say the exact percentage, but I think it's negative. When it's a flip, I lose 75% of the hands.
