In tournaments, you can do this. 100% ROI can be done at 5 USD buy-in level, where I am now. (Sharkscoping final tables show me that there are on average 2 +-competent players, the rest are losing.) So I am sure 30-40% is actually doable at the 10-20 USD level. Considering that 20 USD is still such a low stake in today's games, you don't even need exceptional skills to achieve this.
Playing 20 times a month, 15x 20 USD a day, 6 tabling is a 6000 USD investment. With -+30% ROI it is 2K profit. You need a 250 buy-in bankroll, so it's 5K.

If you have 10bb winrate which is easily achieved if you stay true to what poker is all about: mindset is most important and play the player, not your hands. If you can't spot the sucker in the first 30 minutes then you are the sucker. But if you don't know how to exploit the sucker then you're both suckers. That's basically all you need to crush poker all the way from 2nl to 1k nl. Just aggressive move up in stakes when you have enough buyins and remember to move down if you have a bad start. But you still need to know poker strategy so you don't let other regs run over you because you are after all not heads up against the fish.

When it comes to live poker it's even more easy. All you have to do is play ABC poker and have mental strength to not punt/tilt. So just play basic solid simple poker strategy and win at live poker.

$200 is a very small amount, you will have to play $2 tournaments, and if you play very well, you'll easily get to the result of $2,000 in 2 months, but you still need a lot of luck at such limits because different people play there and you will need to win them sometimes you need luck If you reach this goal, let us know and tell us how long it took you

I am thinking of investing $200 do you think it is achieve the goal to earn $2000 per month if yes please tell how should I use my $200 in playing tournaments or playing cash games?
And also I want to know how much do you make playing poker monthly just for my own curiosity 🙂

Playing sit&go it is almost impossible to do this, the variance doesn't allow it, you would have to be the best player in history and even then the variance wouldn't allow it, to do this you would have to be MTT and be very lucky...My opinion!

Some example calculation for...
Cashgame:

Winrate: 10bb/100hands
1000 hands/hour
8 hours/day
Daily winning: 8*1000*10/100 = 800bb/day
Days/month: 20
Monthly winnings: 20*800 = 16.000bb/month = 160 stacks/month
Limit = 2000$/160stacks = 12,5$ = NL12,5

So you need to consistently win 10bb/100 playing NL10 for more than 8hours a day and 20 days a month.

Bankroll should be 1000$+

To have a more relaxed schedule you should play NL25 with at least 2500$ BR.

The only limit that I would advice using a 200$ BR is NL2 though. You can make around 300-400$ on that limit playing fulltime.
