Is playing poker online better?

Personally, I play online poker because in my city there aren't many places where live poker is played.

for me online poker is never better its option cause of age sickness etc...but ya its not the same or even close to real poker....after 22 years online i still feel the same its not close to live poker in any way shape or form is some fairer rng's but still id prefer live every time

Online poker is affordable for everyone))) You can't say the same about live tournaments with $5K–$10K buy-ins — that's why even many pros sell pieces.

Also likely more enjoyable then live depending on the type of trash ones local casino attracts and allows. But online is about 10x harder to be a winning player then live poker. Avg people are simply to emotional and can't hide live tells worth a dam that's why live is so much easier. Sadly everything else makes live poker at a casino a mostly terrible experience. If prefers live I'd go out and look for and find a decent live home game or start one of your own that keeps the trash out....it's the only way and best way to enjoy live poker.

Yeah I wouldn't say I typically hate poker players or people in general.....it's just a certain type of people and poker player. I love the social aspect of poker, love meeting and shooting the shit with people. With that said it seems nowadays most people can't hold and have a simple conversation if you disagree with them on anything. Most people nowadays simply seem to be extremists on one side or the other. The actual middle of the road avg human seems to exist less and less and less nowadays.

Between that and well my province only has a total population of just over 1m people and is a city that has an international port. Port cities attract the worst kinda human beings, criminal organizations/organized crime groups always have always will(we were better off when the Hell's Angel's ran things). Which says a lot. And well we only have 1 casino with attracts all of them worst kinda of people. Which in turn keeps out the good, decent and avg poker player. That leaves only organized crime, grossly over drunk people on Friday and Saturday at 2am and people exactly like William Kassouf.

Which all completely ruins poker for the social aspect and enjoyment around here for the majority of the decent and good people/players. You want goo decent people and a place to play poker around here you gotta know someone who can get you into a good home game.

Ease of use and multi-challenging I choose both over the profitability of live poker due to travelling and accommodation being a bit too much but thats just me at the end of day.

It depends on how you look at it. For me, online poker is better because there's more variety and it's faster. Live poker involves fewer hands, so it takes a little longer.

I think it has advantages and disadvantages since face-to-face is more natural than online, it is clear that in both ways you acquire knowledge but the truth is that you grow faster online than in person.

There are many positives playing online . But the dirty rng is a very big disadvantage . So if your bankroll os big enough , go play love , not online with bingo players .
