Você tem alguma evidência de que o pôquer online é injusto? Então, por que tantas pessoas continuam jogando, mesmo perdendo há anos?
O que você acha? Obrigado.
I believe that this feeling of injustice is simply the “loss aversion” bias, in which people feel the emotional impact of a defeat more intensely than the pleasure of an equivalent gain. A player may feel “treated unfairly” when losing a favorite hand and reacting with tilt—this aversion to loss working in conjunction with hindsight bias, which makes him think he “knew” what he should have done. Understanding what biases are and how they operate can go a long way in maintaining emotional balance during the game.

The only downside I have to online poker is that it's less exciting than live poker. The adrenaline and well-being of playing live is much greater. However, online poker provides a greater return and faster progress.

It's a game of skill in the long run. Most who keep losing are just chasing the dream instead of studying.

Pros - you don't have to wait for a drunk player to announce your bet, minus - you can't psychologically understand, there is no bluff

One of the main advantages of online poker is that there are always tournaments available at almost every buy-in level on the bigger poker sites. The same goes for cash games. You can also play multiple tables at the same time, and you don’t have to worry about anything other than playing well at your tables.

The only downside I can think of is the issue of bots in online poker, which usually appear on less well-known sites. Obviously, that kind of thing hurts the integrity of the game.

In my years of playing online poker, I've seen many inconsistencies in the way the cards are dealt, things that seem illogical to me, incredible plays rarely seen at live poker tables. It's important to remember that online poker is a system, a computer, an algorithm created by humans. The system tends to favor some players and disadvantage others. Logic often doesn't apply; if the system wants a winner, you'll be the winner. But even so, I continue playing at online poker tables because I don't have many other options.

Pros, Convenience, don't need to leave the house, don't need to pay for overpriced food and drinks etc etc Cons Their are cheaters and scammers

*Note* Their are also cheaters and scammers at live poker and any other event with money involved. The horse racing in my birth country is a complete fiddle. I've witnessed massive displays of cheating and yet I LOVE to bet on the horses. If we stopped doing things we love because of the obvious grey areas then life would suck. IMHO

Convenience, volume and don't have to put up with the miserable, drunk and unhappy players in real life at my local casino.

Con's I guess would be scammers, bots and cheaters. Choose your sites and games wisely. With that said it' still possible to be a winning player even as rec/hobby player who doesn't grind leader boards.

Cheers!!!

I believe the pros are that you can play anytime with just an internet connection, and the cons are that you often find bots on some online poker sites.

NONE of the good players believe this ^ Not a single one. Can you guess why?
hint: it's not because they've been pre-ordained to win.

People will always gamble. I think this interest will never disappear. Games will change, people will change, but interest in such entertainment will always remain high.
