What do you do while playing online poker?

As most of you guys suggest, poker needs full concentration. Any distraction makes you miss valuable information about your opponents, hence losing money. Getting bored is part of the game.
Some soft relaxing music in the background wouldn't hurt much .

I usually end up putzing on the internet in early stages of tournaments. Later stages I'm usually looking at payouts and tracking stack sizes to help with my decision making. On breaks I do housework, or as much as I can.

Recently I've been watching ACR stormers on Twitch TV, there's some pretty neat giveaways. Like there's a channel Uncle slacker, every 10 viewers that come in they do a drawing so for 20 people it's two bucks, 30 people three bucks, and continues. So like say 70 people are viewing, they will do a $7 drawing but they will split it up into one $1 winner and 3 $2 winners to spread out the love. And he deposits the money P2P into your ACR account.

I am catching myself to get bored when playing online poker. So I start reading the newspaper or watch some TV series online. Of course that does not make my play any better.

I try to concentrate on the game. But it really happens that I watch the series on another device. However, I do it to relax.

I 'm not a professional so when I just start my session I play 4 tables at ones so I don't have time to do anything else. later when number of tables decrease to 1-2 deepruns I watch youtube videos or some TV series. sometimes I prefer light music or jazz

The only activity I do when I play poker is listening to music in the background. Before, I used to read or browse social media, which was not a good thing because it distracted me from the tables and I was losing a lot of information because of these things.

Distractions when playing poker (reading something, watching a movie, talking with someone) is always a big and fat minus! Although I think that poker is a game of chance, it nevertheless requires maximum concentration when playing for money. So that it would not be boring and tiring, waiting for your next move, you need to play several tables at the same time. And it does not matter if it is a cache or tournaments.

What do you do, when playing online poker?

I used to play with my laptop on my sofa, TV on phone in hand completely distracted. I recently moved house and now have a study. I shut the door. Leave my phone in the other room and just focus on my game. It's early days, but I have found a new level of focus to my game. I notice that the same guy has opened UTG 4 times in a row or that when another guy limps pre-flop he is going to fold to 90+% of C-bets on the flop. My results have improved significantly in the last couple of months and I can only put it down to being more focused than I was before.

I play 2-3 tables, so i don't get bored. You have to focus on the tables even if you don't involved in the current hand. It's important to notice other players action. There are always useful tells and information. If you are bored so you could play variants like Zoom Poker. After folding you change the table and so there aren't any breaks.

I usually have to watch something while I'm playing poker otherwise these days I just get too bored LOL so I either have the TV on or watch some videos or something on the side on the internet at the same time I actually think it makes me play better if I have something else to casually focus on also
