I think the "Throwables" in Poker rooms are a bit Childish, especially when you consider that in most Countries you cannot play On-line Poker unless you are over18 Years old therefore we should all be Adults on these sites.
Personally I would prefer to have a drop down menu of Poker phrases, like-
Nice Hand
Good Game
Good Fold
etc etc etc.
It would be quicker to use for the two fingered Keyboard players like my-self, who can take ages to type out messages.

I think the objective could be at first something funny. But there are not any throwing with good intentions. I mean, there is a shit but not something with what to congrat your opponents.
Finally I use almost all the time. a mentality like on a live event. Just the famous poker face.

Exactly! Those are indeed childish, especially when some player overuses them, it even gets annoying and someone can easily get distracted.

Hi, I think the age is more or less no sign of adolescence.
For me the age of 18 gives/gave the right to vote, to have a drivers license, fight and lose your life for "your" country. So if you can die with 18 you get the right to vote with 18. One of the purpose of lowering adolescence barriers is to get a lot of fresh inexperienced voters/fighters.
I think the most males at 18 are no adults, females get there earlier.

Well, I don't know. I think it's good that there is this option in online poker. It makes the game of poker less serious and not so boring. Sometimes it can even make some players angry and they start to play inadequately, which is to your advantage

I would definitely prefer a button that I could push to say "nice hand", and I do that where chat is available. As it is on ACR I've been giving those who beat me a bottle of bubbly, in lieu of the verbal congratulations.

I don't have any objections to the throwables though, aside from the poop which is disgusting. You can tell that the designers of that feature are young males. LOL!!

lol, I didn't single out a Gender but I do agree most Women mature faster than Men, In Fact I know some Men in their 50s who have still not grown up yet, they still insist in following their favourite Football team around the Country, to see 22 grown men chase a ball around for 90 minutes. And as for beer, well they only stop drinking when they are flat out on the floor kissing the Pavement.
I'm glad we are not all like them as the Country would be in a hell of a state.
Yes I suppose some Men just never grow up, we have the throwables that prove it.

You might try to use them as a training tool, by helping you learn to ignore what other players say or do in order to distract you. I know that I've used distracting things in both bowling and shooting to help me concentrate on the pins or the shot.
