Are you a Depositer or Freeroller?

I used to have this rule is that I would never deposit on new site, I would always start with freerolls.. Nowadays I mostly just deposit.

When you first started building your online bankroll what were you doing? Did you make deposits and capitalize some wins here and there? Or did you do it straight up free rolling with no deposits? As for me 90% of my bankroll building was deposits mixed with some sprinkle drop freerolls and micros. No offense to freerolls but at times they can be boring and I have a life outside of poker to be waiting 7 hours just to make a quick 3 to 5 dollars.

Whenever I deposit money I do it once every two weeks from work. I don't deposit a lot due to bills and priorities in life so I'll deposit at least $50-$75 and just try to capitalize wins here and there. Hopefully I build my poker account well enough to where I no longer have to deposit and just play mid to high stakes.

What about you guys and gals?

i use all 2 options ... but obviously I don't like deposit a lot...

I have hardly ever deposited , the max total ever I deposited in my 11 years of playing poker well 4 years I left cos of no interest is 175 bucks. I have made 5 figure from poker mainly cos I play mostly freeroll n then use that funds t play bigger games. So bad free rolling the big games

I´ve started already putting money on it, but at beginning lost it all and played some freerolls.
But the world of freerolls is a world with no law so i´ve just stopped.
If you just want to have fun its ok but if you want to at least understand how the game works i think you need to play on real money

I am a freeroller, and I hope it will stay that way.

My goal is to slowly build up my bankroll to the level I can start playing tournaments with buy ins, and with responsible bankroll management.

In the first two weeks since I became a member of the freeroll club, I managed to earn a little over $ 100 from CC's freeroll tournaments. I am very happy with that. I would like such results to continue, but I'm not sure if that's realistic to expect.

I could start playing micro buy-in tournaments soon. I'm in no hurry, patience is key.

In freeroll tournaments you can earn much more than as you wrote $ 3 to $ 5.

My bankroll has some money, so I could play normal paid small MTTs,

but I have not enough time for playing both types
