Hello,

I just made my first deposit on America's Cardroom using bitcoin through coinbase. I just wondered if there was a different way to deposit that may save me some fees, such as a different wallet, etc.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I use Skrill for deposits and withdrawals of money. But this method is not available for all countries.

I am not sure but I think you are putting your Coinbase account in jeopardy when you deposit to a gambling site using Coinbase. You need to use a buffer between your Coinbase account and the gambling site, I use Electrum. If you read a few of the past threads on bitcoin here on CC, you should find the info.

Don't do that again Sully...Coinbase will close your account.

Transfer some Btc from coinbase to an e-wallet...like breadwallet, THEN move it from Breadwallet to poker sites.

I just use regular mail. There's no charge. It takes about a week to get to my house, and I can deposit the check in my TD account.

Cash App is what I used to do my deposit by bitcoin. It is free and took a matter of minutes. It is not a wallet for cashing out though. To cash out I do checks by mail, as someone else stated. It is free and takes a week to 10 days.

Until recently, I used the Skrill system. But since the new year, this system has disappeared from the list. Contacted support om, respond that will soon return, but it has been more than 2 weeks with their promises.

I've never used bitcoin to make a deposit. Say I was willing to deposit $100, how much of that gets eaten up by fees roughly before it makes it to ACR? As of now, I'm planning to buy using coinbase and transfer to a different wallet before transferring to ACR.

I used to use my visa debit card to deposit on ACR straight from my checking account with no fee but all of a sudden they want 10% as a fee? I can understand a small fee if it costs them MAYBE but 10%?
I don't understand nor do I trust crypto currencies as they are so volital so is there another option that is cheaper or a site that doesn't charge to deposit that is worth playing on?

I used the VISA Debit card my bank issued me, twice about a year apart between transactions. No problem at all either time. I suppose if I want to deposit and play I will need to figure out all the hoops but for now I will just play brick and mortar tournaments and build with freerolls online.

Hi, Bitcoin is the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to deposit/withdraw on ACR, allow me to give you a link with a short video showing how to use bitcoin in our poker website:
