I am also waiting on a withdrawal via bank wire. I managed to get my winnings to $4000 and requested a withdrawal for $3500. I got an email the next day saying it had been processed so a rather quick response time there, now just to see how long it takes to hit my account.. it said on average it's 10 business days. I am in Australia.

Bitcoin, no. Credit card deposits are immediately credited to account, though the sites don't get the funds until later.

i Decided i would document this whole process...for those who are currently wondering if its safe or not to play at ignition poker. i won the 10 dollar buy in 8000 guaranteed. im attempting my first withdrawal of 950 dollars. i received an email stating it was for review and the review would be complete within 48 hours. i will update the post according to updates by them. just for the record they state it will take 5-10 business days. We shall see

i did a 500 withdraw from ignition via bitcoin. and they had it in my account now questions or bull shit the next morning. very nice . and that was about 3 weeks ago

The process of cashing a check took about 3 weeks total. Get a tracking code from Ignition and follow with the carrier.

I've seen that video before, and I believe you are correct about the legalities. Still, I find that advice odd due to the anonymous nature of bitcoin.

It's by far not as "anonymous" as many people think...

Every single transaction is stored publicly in the blockchain. So if I know your wallet address than I can find out exactly how much bitcoin You have in it and to which wallets You send how much...

And as soon as You exchange your bitcoin to real money You are not anonymous anymore. You have to proof your identity at coinbase and other exchanges... Therefor it is possible to track back transactions on bitcoin easier than mosst people are aware of...

So as long as You have to turn bitcoin to dollars or an other currency the anonymity is gone....

and a heads up open an account with bitpay, they give you a credit card and u can turn your bitcoin to USD instanly
