It is about time

It is about time. Now, PokerStars need to start letting USA players play on the site.

I'm just asking if a friend gets the full amount or not?

Poker Stars are not a monopoly, but he abuses the rules here I agree and I know why. Do not care about the platform of poker and see how many people are online. The star of the stars is a leader in the number of players.

The last few years they are only doing what create unacceptable conditions for players. I am not surprised.

Took a few days, but all my funds are now `released` from the limbo they were in. All this did was force me into making paypal and Skrill accounts,no big deal,,,it was me being lazy, lol. PTP was convenient, that`s all. :D (was wondering, does PS have any affiliation with paypal or skrill?anyone know?) Cheers.:)

Has anybody had problems withdrawing money from PS in last few days? Yesterday, I tried to withdraw but could only withdraw 700$. And today I can't withdraw anything, I never had any problems before and I never did player to player transfer.

In addition, all funds that are:
  • deposited to your Stars Account
  • or received by a transfer from another player
must be wagered before a withdrawal can be requested, and a 48-hour delay from your last deposit may be imposed on withdrawals with certain payment methods. This feature is designed to protect our players against collusion and fraud. You will be able to submit your withdrawal request once the 48 hours have elapsed.

Legal to pay players for money transfer?

So I saw a lot of mentions of sending money to players via PayPal, and receiving money over PokerStars.

I'd be very open to this - is this legal? Would definitely expedite the multiple business day waits of local bank transfers.

Next, if this is legal, is this commonly done amongst players - I suppose an intermediary like Skype or Discord would be used during the process for trust.

I'm guessing a deal could be done where 50$ is transferred over PayPal first, then 50$ is transfered to pokerstars, and finally an additional 20$ transfered via PayPal as 'tip'.

- Does this happen?

No. Do not ever try to cheat your bank or bypass them like this. Unless on a nation like Switzerland, The Bahamas or Panama etc your bank will have easily traceable history of things so that everything is secure and definite. Also don't trust more then thirty dollars in PayPal wallet. They change policy overnight and have nonexistent customer support.

rational may actually be right for the first time in history , but for completely the wrong reasons .

Paypal transactions are reversible so never trade funds with someone you don't know and trust implicitly else a couple of months down the line the transaction could be reversed and you'll be out of pocket.

Secondly , and more importantly , it is against paypals terms and conditions to send money to someone else via paypal so that they can gamble with it.
https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/...ers-cautionary-tale-1640057/?highlight=paypal demonstrates this.

I did not notice the changes but in general I think that PS is the hardest room for beginners and making first steps in poker career!

I absolutely agree. In these days ist seems to be impossible to build a bankroll there. Only a few Freeplayers, strange tables in CG an the cheapest tournament takes 5 hours for winning 0,25 $. I would always prefere 888 Poker for beginners. And it's really easy to build a bankroll there. :)
