Any damage to his reputation would be tough to assess. He was already well known as an advantage player, and nothing about this case should change that. He did it playing baccarat / punto banco, so should the people he plays poker against be concerned? Probably not.

As far as I know, Phil was banned in a Vegas casino, is it true? It was forbidden that cica won too much and was suspected to have defeated the play. How true and how much lie?

If that's true, I've never heard about it. I mean, it's possible, but I suspect all the casinos would still want his action.

On the other hand the casino could have refused to fullfill all the requests that made it possible for him...

I would have preferred to see him win the case... He played by the rules... None of the things he has done is forbidden by isteslf... You shouldnt be punished for finding a clever combination of legal things that give You an advantage...

Erm... I'm not sure you've understood the story. He didn't win, the casinos didn't pay him / successfully sued him to get his winnings back. This is not a good news story for Phil Ivey.

I totally support Ivey. as he says, Casinos besides making money, its an industry of taking money out of people. if you look at the slot machines, they are pre programmed to only give money once every 1000 games or so. I totally disagree with the fact that only casinos can win. why is it that all the rules have to be made to prejudice the players?

Phil Ivey is amazing, but he is pretty bent inside too. Meaning he is looking for trouble sometimes. Comes out in his style at the table too! He will guess and shove PF with 5-2o. With his poker skills no reason to play table games, Casinos will take that cheating stuff personally. He will wind up like Tupac/Notorous Big.

Love the Guy BTW. Love Dwan too, but Ivey has acheived more.

Casinos agreed to requests. He didn't make or alter anything. He used what the casino was willing to do. They should of payed......if it was the other way around they wouldn't of been going back the losses.
