The promotional tournaments (NY day 50$ 50k and 100$ 100k) both surpassed their guarantees.

the 100k guarantee - 2 day tournament actually doubled its prize pool - pretty awesome to see.

I'm waiting for Pokerstars and similar sites to be open to all of the country and able to play against other countries around the world rather than fencing off player pools to within a state. Hopefully Ct is on the short list of the next to open. We. Allow antasynsports and they are even allies with the casinos foxwoods and Mohegan. Pretty sure Mohegan operates in a state with Pokerstars so hopefully they get the legislation etc together.

They will be able to play with the rest of the world, because when I started at pokerstars 6 years ago, I noticed that Americans only played for play money, not the real game. Then I went to research, and found out that pokerstars was banned from the United States for fraud.

Not true , full Tilt was taken down for fraud , Pokerstars paid off their debts and let Full Tilt players outside of US transfer their account including their funds to PS

Americans will be allowed to play poker with folks in regulated states. In this case on PokerStars only, the players in Michigan and New Jersey will be combined - no other players will be joining them at this time.
