I like to make 1 $0.05 bet on 10's or better, but this week one of the challenges for the new promotion was a Casino challenge so completing that got me my ticket as well as moving me up the challenge board.

This is easily my favorite tourney at 888, relatively small field (usually 1500-1800 players), 10 minute blinds and a decent starting cash for a $1k freeroll.
I've only made 1 final table so far, but I feel a win will come eventually.

Just thought I'd bump this since it's Thursday. Because there is now a Canadian members' FR on Saturday on 888, I thought it was a good time to play this again. I was reminded of all the reasons I stopped playing this when I tried to play a slot game.

The heavy graphics needed to play a slot in my browser, and requiring Flash to be turned on, necessitated about 40 minutes of (mostly) background loading to pull it off, but I'm in. For those of you looking for a one cent slot game, the "Alice in Wonderland" slot still plays at one line for one cent.

If you are trying this for the first time, after playing the slot game (one play, one line, minimum wager are all that is necessary), the ticket will appear in your 888 ticket account sometime tomorrow, game is at noon ET on Saturday, and registration opens at 11:30AM ET - *if I remember correctly.

I like to do 1 to 3 $0.05 spins on the multi wild slots to qualify.

If you only bet $0.05 to $0.15 to qualify you will win more from the tourney than you will lose qualifying as it is very easy to cash in it since it's not a hyper turbo (it has 10 minute blinds) and pays about 30% of the field.

You can also get lucky while qualifying too, a few weeks back I hit a $27 win on a $0.05 spin while qualifying.

I think the number of entries will be very low this week as it appears a lot of people didn't get their tickets.

I didn't get mine and my brother says he didn't get his and 7 minutes after registration opened there are only 6 people registered.
