As others have said, some information seem to be inaccurate here, since this is not, what poker sites normally do, when they pull out of a market. And its also not the content of the message, which balo has shared here. On PokerStars antonis32123 has played more than 15.000 games for an average buyin of just $0,15, which is typical of someone, who have never deposited or only made like maybe a few minimum deposits. So its entirely possible, his account on 888 Poker was not verified or did not meet the conditions for withdrawing, because no deposit was ever made.antonis32123 said:888poker . Man ... When they leave a country they should inform players much earlier. 3-5 days before is not good enough . The same they did with Greece . They left , but before this they sent me an email , saying I could withdraw my cashier balance in 3 days , I saw the email after a week .....
I got my money . I just had to email the support , then give a Iban bank account number and they sent the money . That took little time ,I think two weeks . No big deal . It's just not right to give deadline of only 3 days . If I had more time I might had decided to play some $$$ before I close my account , for sure play any ticket left in my account . But they gave no time . I just saw the email after 888poker had departed from GreeceG0930 said:that is in fact illegal no matter what 888's FAQ say.
Was it a lot ? in which case you should definetly seek legal counseling
Indeed. Which is how we would say "Gegen die guten Sitten " and is illegalantonis32123 said:I got my money . Yup VPN is never a good idea since it's not allowed they can declare your funds as confiscated.antonis32123 said:I created another account to 888poeker with VPN , it was a failure , I closed that account , I won't try again with VPN , maybe nowhere with VPN again .....
Deadline for what? Using up your freeroll tickets or something? You got your money out, so there is nothing to complain about hereantonis32123 said:It's just not right to give deadline of only 3 days.
It's about that he had to contact support to get His money cause of their stupid 3 days policy .fundiver199 said:Deadline for what? Using up your freeroll tickets or something? You got your money out, so there is nothing to complain about here![]()
For sure it would be ideal, if they gave a bit longer notice, and in Norway it seems to have been 5 days, which is at least a little bit longer. Its obviously easier for people to log on and request a withdrawal through the cashier menu than to contact support, after their account is closed. But at the end of the day the most important has to be, that he got his money outG0930 said:It's about that he had to contact support to get His money cause of their stupid 3 days policy .
