This is so weird and the only more or less logical conclusion basically is that "support" there is "trained" to react instantly if someone mentions the word deposits together with any personal condition.

Maybe the chat support is not even a human but AI? This is becoming more and more common and would explain the events. I think, most of us can probably agree, that its best to interact as little as possible with poker site support. In this case if OP forgot to enter a deposit bonus code, and his deposit was only $20, then with hindsight it would have been a lot better to just forget this bonus. Especially since the bonus terms on 888 Poker essentially say, that a bonus can not be used, unless you have already spend all the regular funds in your account.

Cant imagine a more credible source than someone who told what someone wrote in the comment box of a random romanian stream 😅

The issue happened in a split second. I was in a support chat trying to claim a 100% deposit bonus that I had forgotten to enter the code for. My exact, literal comment was a self-deprecating joke:

It's a shame you weren't aware that 'bonus' at 888 is pretty much a scam.

To realize that this all started from the hopes of getting something that basically doesn't exist (bonus).

I hope you're able to get your $20 a.s.a.p. It'd be nice if 888 gave you a $22 tournament ticket at the very minimum. Honestly though, I'd take that $20 & run! Of the popular sites today, it is the ONLY one that I've heard gives their customers the runaround on Withdrawals.

ID is a long number (9 digits ) & is much different than my username (or my screen name)
Unless it's referred to as 'user ID'

I'm also Brazilian, I live in Brasilia, I've had an account at 888 Poker since 2015, when I started playing poker, I've made thousands of deposits and withdrawals at 888 Poker without any problems, of course my account is verified, Brazilian laws have greatly limited access to poker sites, casinos and bets, I was sad this week that 888 Poker reduced the number of freerolls
