Was in and ready for the CC Partypoker freeroll tonight, but it didn't go well, but thats cool, as I'm not here to talk about a simple CC freeroll!!
I was flicking around for games while the CC game was on and happened upon some All in or fold freerolls for various things, I regged a few just to see, and the one I won was a Micro millions feeder, which gave me a 0.22 C ticket. So I got in there and it all went nicely, I finished 5th with a 224k stack. This progressed onto the next phase, which you can buy in for $1,10 anyway, but here I was. Played it pretty soon after and had a pretty solid Million + stack so was happy enough, but in the last or 2nd last hand some guy shoved for loads, and I had AKs, I shouldn't really be calling, as he had similar chips to me, but I was freerolling, and I kind of thought the extra chips would be good in the next round!!
He has 83s and doesn't hit so I end the day with a great stack of 2.5M chips!!
So this gets me into Sundays final phase for the Micromillions main event. Currently sitting 5th in chips with plenty of days left to add more peeps!!
I went and had a look for this event and its not for a few weeks! Cos its the micromillions its the High roller a $22 buy in, with M event for $5.50, and a L for $1.10.
Then I had a look for satties for the M, found one for 0.88c, played this and got the ticket. So with any luck I get the $22 ticket too, although there will be some play required for that. I will be def playing the L and the M.
They are all Mystery bounties too which is fun! For the High $22 buy in, I will already be in the mystery bounty stage if I make it through, which would be awesome! So this final phase is kind of like a a late reg! The Top 150 get the full ticket into the tournament proper!!
To sum up, this series doesn't seem to be majorly advertised on PArtpoker yet, but there were some good value satties, and nice options with overlay to get into the games, give em a go, and hopefully see you guys there!!!!
