Ok the App keeps crashing since yesterday update..sigh

Hey ACR guy, why all of the sudden is my anti-virus telling me you are up to no good? It told me ACR was up to "suspicious" activity, what is it talking about? It actually suggested I delete your software. I know you guys updated the other day...what do you got going on?

What you are experiencing is a false positive flag that the antivirus triggers. You just need to set an exception within the firewall allowing the poker application to run.

I love the new updates that the site has made: hand for hand, ITM notification, are great. ACR has the micro Monday's with the .55 cent buy in to the $1000.00 guarantee. I would like to see ACR some more microstakes MTT's in the .10 cent, .25 cent range with small guarantees on Tuesday and Thursday.

Hopefully they don't implement it. In a real cardroom, you don't have to show your cards on the river if you're last to act and lose. Why should it be any different on ACR?

"Roberts Rules of Poker" by Robert Ciaffone is generally the basis for most poker room rules. They're usually considered the standard when there's nothing else in place.

In "THE SHOWDOWN" rules:

5. Any player who has been dealt in may request to see any hand that has been called, even if the opponent's hand or the winning hand has been mucked. However, this is a privilege that may be revoked if abused. If a player other than the pot winner asks to see a hand that has been folded, that hand is dead. If the winning player asks to see a losing player’s hand, both hands are live, and the best hand wins.

in wsop tournaments SIR it if reaches showdown both hands have to show even the losing one.

In regular cash games at casino it help to prevent collusion between 2 people in they got a monkey in the middle. Also if the rule is NOT abused I have been able to ask for a called hand on the river & the floor makes them show. I will reiterate that this cannot happen every hand, but if U do it once a session or so it is allowed.

Other sites do show the river cards of your opponents if called on the river. You just have to go to hand history to see them.

Agree with everything U said in this post & posted my own response similar to yours w/out realizing U replied to the question that was posed to me.

I have seen it where if the winning hand requests to see the losing hand then the losing hand will be gathered up by the dealer & she will tap those cards against the muck pile to kill the hand & then flip them over so everyone can see & the hand is NOT live.

Not sure what WSOP events you're watching. Every single one I've seen on TV the person calls forcing the other person to show their hand. If it beats the person who called, the loser mucks and doesn't show. Thanks for your input SIR.

71. Showdown: In a non all-in showdown, if cards are not spontaneously tabled, the Floor People may enforce an order of show. The last aggressive player on the final betting round (final street) must table first. If there was no bet on the final street, then the player who would be first to act in a betting round must table first (i.e. first seat left of the button in flop games, high hand showing in stud, low hand showing in razz, etc.) Players not still in possession of their cards at showdown, or who have mucked face down without tabling their cards, lose any rights or privileges they may have to ask to see any hand. The winning hand must be shown to claim the pot. If a participant refuses to show their hand and intentionally mucks his or her hand, the participant in violation will receive a penalty, in accordance with Rules 39, 107 and 108.

This is incorrect.

(EDIT: You can ask to see any hand that makes it to a showdown, but your opponent is not "forced to show." I do agree that we should be able to see cards that made it to a showdown in the hand history, but it is not a requirement for them to be shown down on the table.)

I have a tournaments related question also, as a new player to your site...

I'm wondering if deals (chops) can be made between players at a final table? I know in the old days on PokerStars and the like, someone would email support when players were in agreement to talk deal... we were talking about it at the FT of the 2AM PLO $100 GTD last night, but no one was aware if support would come and facilitate a chop.

Also, I haven't seen it mentioned here, so I apologize if its been asked previously, but are tournament entries won allowed to be unregistered for tournament dollars as on other sites?

I'm actually very pleased as a former PS and FTP grinder, I've had very little to complain about except for wanting more volume.

I don't get how the implementation helps prevent collusion. I think it helps folks collude.

Ex;

2 colluding players and a 3rd (the fish) are pushing the action, and before the final bet, one of the colluders drops out (old school collusion). He was in it to sweeten the pot for his partner. But when the rule is presented the way it is now, he doesn't have to drop out, he can bet till his pants fall off, all the while knowing his partner has the nuts. He knows he will not have to show (new school collusion).
