Banned from GG POKER

I'mjustcurious, cause this whole thing sounds so disgusting to me (on many levels). But according to no. 4 in your list are they no longer communicating with you! You also mentioned earlier you deposited $100 to the site. Is any left or did it grow? Not important how much the point is were you able to withdraw whatever money you had left or did they just confiscate it?

Either way sucks you have to go through this. Like you stated you are a customer, and one that deposits!!! Not good PR to treat anyone like this, but you have $$$ in it, they should bend over backwards for you, LITERALLY!

This makes no sense from a "business" perspective. I do hope they did not keep any of your money. Regardless if the amount is important to you, its the principle. Not to mention honorable business practice.

Pleased to make your acquaintance, Krista. Jivaro now works on ACR and PokerStars. On rare occasions it does freeze and needs to be restarted if you notice your chip count staying the same when it should have changed.

I emailed GGPoker last night to inform them I use Jivaro which does not and never will work on GG, and I await their response and will post it in this thread for those who may be curious.

After one year of Jivaro, I will likely need a more advanced HUD like Hand to Note.

I am very impressed with GG software overall. It has very modern features and an arcade style. A cool feature is it allows for no cost staking. I used one of the $2.20 bounty hunter tickets awarded by Vanessa Kade and played real money for the first time last night.

I have no history on the site but I decided to try sell half of my action just to test the staking. I toyed around with reposting it at different markups and discounted it a few times. It was snapped up at 1.18 markup so I converted just over half of the value to real dollars.

I have no conclusions yet about their RNG.

I think you should have been given at least one warning and I dont agree with the confiscation of funds. Other players have claimed to be banned for simply winning, I imagine at the cash games.

Immediately resorting to a ban and confiscating your fund deeply concerns me and I will not be depositing any significant amounts because of it.

I am curious as to what HUD you were using. Does it even work on GG?


A poker site can see what programs you have running on your computer. This is why running a VPN to appear like one is playing from another country is a bad idea.

Just read what a hud is. I guess theres a reason to play live. The only hud is in your head. I dont like the idea of huds, but if theyre legal.....gonna stick with my brain hud. 3rd party software had always caused me issues.

I hear yah... but here the issue... those serious about poker and play online in PokerStars, PartyPoker, 888 or ACR use huds... maybe 90% and they are permitted on those poker sites
just watch pros/semi-pros play on twitch... all use huds

now if I did not use a hud.. and villains do .. i would be at a disadvantage, yes?

sorrie my blonde brain isn't large enough to remember all those previous hands i played against villains and to capture valuable statistics of those opponents play
plus they allow me to examine my played hands in detail

Ok I got a cookie cutter response about third party tracking software which I will include below. I also include my response below theirs as I was playing on Stars today with Jivaro when I logged into GG. I NEED them to understand Jivaro does not track or interface with GG. If they have a problem with a software that wont interface with GG I feel they need to tell me. When they respond again I will post in this thread.

Ok but I have this issue that came up today, but I do not want to do anything that would get me banned.

So all I ask is that you tell me if the following is OK or not. If its not OK then I will just not log into GG Poker when I am playing at PokerStars.

I was in the middle of a tournament at PokerStars where I am using the Jivaro HUD.

I was scheduled for a tournament on GG so I log on to play

Jivaro HUD will not work with GG Poker as it does not support GG Poker, will not track any player action at GG Poker, and will not interface in any way with GG poker. Please test if for yourselves at Jivaro.com

Should I not log into GG Poker while playing PoklerStars and using Jivaro ?

So if I am in the middle of a tournament where I can use a HUD I dont think I am going to deactivate the HUD just so I can play at GG, but I will honor their request and make sure it is off when I am playing there.


I really think by the letter that they wrote me it indicates that Krista should have gotten a warning.

I wanted to speak on her behalf but from what I read in the terms and services that if I am associated with a banned player I too will be banned.

I understand they want to have HUDLESS poker but they should really take the time to create and approved/dissaproved software list and offer to review others for you.

They are so afraid my HUD will gain artificial intelligence and learn to track GG Poker Players. A bit paranoid.

Well I am glad I got that all aired out and I wont have Jivaro on while playing at GG but I wont be playing at GG when I am playing at Stars or ACR.

ACR needs to get a bank to work with. May being an unregulated not legal poker room has something to do with that. But if the DOJ were going to go after them why wait until all of their crypto is worthless?

So I guess they have some arrangement with someone to keep them safe. Time will tell. But if they are running an illegal op now they will not be welcome when poker does go legal in the states and the states wont appreciate the competition.

I predict this will get very interesting in the coming years.
