I am a member of pretty much all sites but want peoples takes on why they think a certain site is better ?

i know eople have personal preference but id like to know peoples storys and opinions as it may help me focus on one or two instead of 20

888 is best for me...i like pokerstars but their river cards are so terrible...if play A7 against AK a expect to hit 7 on river an unbelivebli often i do...

Seems longer. I was one of the first players to beta test ACR. There was only about ten players at first. I and the rest of testers build up nice BR's during the beta test. Before ACR I played PlanetPoker and ParidisePoker around 1998. I still play at ACR with the same name. (alabamaman)

I'm a US player and I like Full Flush the best, and if you are a a new player and just play freerolls to start with, they have some real good one's. But there are many like me that are waiting for the FreeBuy at ACR/BCP. Man that really shows how good of a site they are. GL to you

It depends on what games you prefer the most and what your goals are. If you are looking for freerolls and starting from 0$ bankroll, I would recommend Full Flush. Their freeroll prize pools are pretty nice and not that much competition. On the other hand there is not that many tourneys runnning regulary and only a few full cash tables.

I have gotten to where I despise ALL online sites. It is just so unrealistic and does not reflect the real game with true odds..for example, tonight in ONE tournament I saw quads 3 times, had aces cracked to Q8o, lost AKs v A6o and had KQs lose to QJo to eliminate me. This was on ACR but they are all pretty much the same. This may just sound like bitching about a bad run, some people will talk about variance and what not, but the odds online do not equate to live poker. There may be a sophisticated program to ensure that the cards are random, but it will never truly reflect live poker.

Living in the US im limited to what i can play. So i must go down the list of the sites i play at and really dont have a favorite due to the way i have been treated. Well theres one site only rebuys with a predetermined amount of people that cash that has nothing to do with how many ppl play and thats terrible. Then theres a site i like the software but it takes a couple of months to cash and when i have its a gamble if the check is good. Yup i got a check from Canada that bounced and was told i couldnt send the check back because they had no physical address i got mad as hell because i was out the charge of the bounced check. And another site with another bounced check so i was told to send it back and i did to never hear from them again and no response to my emails after i sent it back. Then there is the dead money sites which you play against people that havent made a deposit so they cant withdraw so the money they have is the house money. Now another site that hides the name of who you are playing against which opens the door for cheating by the house and you also have to play the odds with check from Canada again. So playing for monetary gain has gone out the door so i play as a hobbyist like the games offered by CC (tyvm). So the number one site for me and i can say that hasnt ripped me off is ACR and BCP but i have knocked a competitor out 3 times in the same tourney whats up with that. What has happened to true competition. Sorry for the negativity but online poker isnt true poker with the huds and such but its close and a good prep tool for live play. I guess i could play ring games or sngs thats about it. Dont get me wrong i still enjoy playing online poker you may say how would i after all this i ask myself the same question all the time and i only play a few hours a week not like the 100 hours a week like i used to. So ACR and BCP would be my favorite sites but they fall short of the true game. Come on poker sites i dont want your product i want a service thats designed for the poker player not one designed for the house to drain the pockets of the players. Maybe this and few other factors has given online poker a bad name. My total to date of how much i have been ripped off for in my lifetime is somewhere around 45k im glad i have only pulled out of my pocket a few hundred bucks though. Wow i am a grouchy old fart been playing poker for somewhere around 45 years now. I dont drive so its not like i could drive to the nearest casino 100 miles away and play every day so i get my poker fix online oh boy a fix i have gotten lol. ACR is the place for me!!

My favorite is Full Till. And why ? might shock someone. Cause of the traffic - yea thats right. Not manny opponent are there but they play poker as it should be played. Not like pokerstars where a newbee or simply "Russian" bully shove all in on J2 cause he rush to get more chips and u lose a pretty strong hand like QQ with which u might collected more chips. Second thing is Rush poker where any decent poker player can make profit playin cash game. I find their software fair as it can be.

I use quite pokerstars , I think is best, has many Daily tournaments, and ecelentes awards.

I personally started out on poker stars and recently started using full tilt as well. A nice feature is you can link the two sites so you can share your bankroll between them. Poker stars definitely has more people playing on it and basically non stop freerolls. Also a lot of different types of poker games if you want something other than hold em.
I hear good things about 888 too tho..

the reason 888 have so many promotions is because they have so many leaving the site. It would be a great site if they would fix the multiple recurring (over several years now) issues with their software and hardware. But they prefer to just talk about doing that and throw free tickets at players to keep them sweet.
