Don't think much of GG Poker so far

After signing up with GG Poker I played the CardsChat freeroll and the daily freeroll yesterday. I came nowhere in the CardsChat but won a ticket in the other one - along with 1,999 other players. Not sure that means anything but leaving that aside, the interface is confusing, the background music is annoying and for some reason when you are dealt cards you have to "open" them. Doubt I will get used to this.

You can customise most of those settings and remove a lot of the redundant animations

1st thing I do after logging on is switching off the background music As for cards - it's a setup, you can change it permanently to auto-open.
I recommend 3 freebies-promos:

As Andyreas and others have said above you go turn a lot of that crap off or change the settings on it. If you're going to stick around any length of time I'd go into the settings and change so things.

I stand corrected. I came nowhere in the CardsChat freeroll but entered the Telegram freeroll at level 11 and ended up winning $5.38 with incredible cards. Chip and a chair.

Means you won smth lol. Look in your account how you can use it

You can turn off music in the settings
Also the card squeeze can be turned off

Yea , you can customize anything for your pleasure..and you probably won a ticket to the saturday 100k Freeroll, which is great!
IT offers like 5k for first place? And you can win many entrances as it`s a rebuy tournament during the late registration..
Sure GG has it`s downsides, but they`re giving away free money like noone else...just recently i won a so-called "BadBeat Jackpot", when losing with quads to a straight flush on the river...so i won over 100 Dollars in a single Hand in the micro Stakes!
The dude with the Straight Flush won about 35$..
So if you have any skill in the game (unlike me) you can build a bankroll out of nothing!
I added up all my winnings from the daily Free ticket over one year and it was about 100$ as well...

It`s a currency you can only use in Cash games...transfer them to real money through playing the cash games: Hold em, PLO or Rush and Cash..

I like playing on GG. I made about $400 within one year. You get a free daily ticket for Spin & Gold or Mystery Bounty Royal worth $0.25, and a $1 ticket once per week, and a daily ticket for WSO Express stage 0. During my honeymoon month, I made around $200.
There are many more players than on 888, and I feel like I’m winning more when playing micro‑stakes cash games. By some time I got used the their GUI.
Depending on the promotion game (freeroll) you may end up winning just C$ - which you can only use for cash games or T$ which you can only use for tournaments to turn them into USD to withdraw. But that's not much of an issue for me.

With 888, I’m still struggling because they haven’t accepted any of the documents I sent for address verification. Even the support on Reddit couldn’t help.
So at this point, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to withdraw from them, which is really frustrating. On Reddit I read from someone which had 45kUSD owing 888 to him but he also cannot withdraw. Verification on GG, by comparison, was no problem.

The Cardschat tournaments on GG poker are very competitive and not easy to cash in but if you stick at I am sure you could get some good results in the future.

In my opinion, GGpoker is a good poker room that has a lot of features, for those just starting out it may seem a little confusing, but over time you will get used to it.
