Full Tilt Take-2 Promo Running again in Sept.

I started off multitabling .20/.10 and .10/.05 stud hi games and playing ABC poker to minimize my risk to get my daily 1 FTP. I'm at level 3 now, which is great.

Even better, is that I have gotten better at multitabling and when I play during the triple FTP points time window, I rake in the (non cash level FTPs).

This is a great promotion for me since I only have #10 in my account i on level 2 1 more day till level 3 I have some ups on downs that why I'm behind missed 2days because my PC was Down and missed yesterday cuz I didn't pay my internet bill and they cut me off LOL.Can't missed anymore days or I will not get the $50 I really NEED.

Right there with you hamm. Going for my level 2 right now. I'll still be happy with the $25 when I get it done.
Also very, very, happy that I'm up about $2 in bankroll just playing enough to get my points.

Yea, last night iron man was showin ~10x the take2 total, this morning #s are 13 and 10.

I'm not sure why that happens and 'NO' it's not just because the Take2 takes longer to update.
My partner earned a min. of 3pts. per day (ironman) but didn't bother to check her Take2. On her Take2 it's still showing that she earned less than 1pt. on 5 of those days (and she started out late so she gets screwed on the full bonus). This was in the first week that she began playing it.

An easy $50 for those with a small bankroll and good oppurtunity for sure.

For myself, I've been referring to this as the take2 aspirins. The play is so bad. Typically I'll stack off villain while way ahead and then get called on turn shove by a gutter? and lose Topset, Top2 pr. etc. Or flop straight, play it fast as hell and get called down on turn shove by a weak flush draw, lol. Then find myself down a buyin and not content to leave til' I'm ahead. What a f'n grind.
The time I've wasted on those tables I could've been turning a decent profit in SNG's or MTTs. I also feel like I've let them mess with my game (or at least the enjoyment of it, lol... but I'm stubborn and insist on finishing it off).
I'm sure it's great pickings for the 6Max regs. in 25NL+ because from what I've seen there's at least 3 to 4 Take2 Fish on every single table (how do I know they're take2 fish?... cuz they've typically only played less than 1,000 hands... and love to flat preflop out of position.... ie. Limp/call, call call... oh and don't forget the ol' minraise from SB, lol).
Somehow I've managed to stay at +0.34BB/100 hee hee... don't know how????
Can't wait til' the end of the month and feel sympathy for players who play these tables regularly. I MUCH prefer to play tournanemt-style poker any day of the week.

Just in the past three weeks I really haven't gained much in my roll, actually about even with what I was at before Take2 started, but looking in HEM, I am up $20 in +EV, so I am making the right plays, just getting screwed by the idiots. The real play for the tables right now is a nit strategy IMO, because you can get these players to follow you on just about anything, even if the nuts are showing(pun?). That is what I have been trying to do, but then I crave more action, so I loosen up a tad more, still playing very tight, but not with the nuts. I was at a table yesterday with TriggaLos and that's definitely what he was doing and it was working out great. Think he bought in for $2 at the .02/.05 and he probably had a VPIP of about 4 while I was at the table, and when I left he was up to $6. Just tighten up and drive those premium hands home

$2 is plenty. Remember, to hit the bonuses you really don't need to play hands. Just be patient and wait for the premium hands, and rack up the FTPs in the meantime. It may not happen as quick as you hope, but you will learn some valuable skills along the way.

With so many people at the tables that don't normally play ring games, there are so many people over-playing hands that might be good plays in a tournament, but aren't in a cash game. Just stick to a very tight distribution and let the table go round until you get something good( and I don't mean KJs, lol). Depending on your tables, you can earn that point in like 5 minutes, or less. I was at a super-aggressive table the other day and in the first 3 hands I was at the table, 2 or 3 players got all in, and that was like 2-3 points per hand. So if you want to earn points fast without playing very much, find a table that has an average pot of like 1.25 and you're set

This is exactly what mine looks like...I missed the first day and have hit every day since. Made $8 at the tables in that time (.01/.02) (high roller imo). This promotion will put me over $100 so I'll feel comfortable moving up (trying to do this whole poker thing w/o ever depositing).

idk, i just want assurance i guess. I'm not really confident about myself getting a point for 6 days. Either way I'm happy with $25, made alot of mistakes this past month hopefully learned through that and be better in the future.

I'm actually quite thankful for this promotion because it has gotten me to play Stud hi/lo8B again. I used to be kinda good at that game, and it's interesting teaching myself how to play it again. This promotion in some way acts like a poker forum: it creates an earn while you learn situation. I plan on sticking with Stud hi/lo8B after the promotion, playing in buy-in tournaments at Stars like I used to in the old days when I played more poker.

I missed the first 4 days, but should finish level 3 tomorrow. I can still make the full $50 for the month if I only miss 1 more day - hopefully I can do it! I REALLY like this promotion, and am probably up $10 or so in the process...

19 straight days so far, about to do the 20th, up $1.50 since the start of the promo at the 1/2cent tables entering with the minimum. Feeling pretty good about that since my roll is small and i don't play ring games or multi-table at all.

its not the temtation part its getting the 50 and go from there lol . besides when i play its 1 hour before work and i allow 45 minutes to get my point at 1/2 cent plus the fact that its mostly europeons at 4am .

Did you track how long you sat for the 1.04 FTPs ?

I got 1.02 FTPs in 34min O8 today.
