Hey,
I am curious if there are any winning players on GGPoker in this forum and which disciplines are played.
On GGPoker easily a losing player. In cash and tournaments, both microstakes.
Greetings

I'm a winning player on GG but only due to playing mainly the daily freebies. 🤣

In the 12 days resolution challenge, I see that I'm definitely not a winning player on the micro cash tables. 🤪

I played on GGpoker when there were daily CardsChat freerolls. Now I don't play there yet. I hope that maybe this year they will resume holding our freerolls there, that would be cool.

I am a winning poker player on both GG and once Natural 8( N8 is a sister site of GG that I can cannot play on, as it is not available in Canada anymore for some reason and they took my remaining bankroll without notice) and I would suggest, unless you think you are a very skilled, good and profiting player on other sites and you don't mind wasting your time trying to make a dollar, 'Do Not Play On GG', unless you want to donate your both your time and bankroll to this site, I seriously mean this.

The suckout action on GG is so high, you literally will not want to go all-in preflop with pocket Aces, heads-up, although this experience may vary from player to player, e.g. depending on your skill level.

The better you are, the harder it is for your hand to hold up, or whoever the worst player is involved in the hand, they are most likely going to win, especially in an all-in situation or where you or they, are pretty much pot committed. I'm losing on average, 87% of 'ALL', my all-ins with the best hand, to some bingo player on a draw.

- I'm a profiting micro-stakes player on all sites I play on, but GG is one of hardest to make your hand hold up, especially during all-in scenarios in any spot where you have the best hand and some aggro bingo player is calling an all-in or shoving from behind, with a lesser hand and sucking out. The only other site that has a higher suckout percentage rate for me is PartyP, the only difference being that GG has way more aggressive bingo players that are harder to tame, PartyP.

-I play 1$-2$ tournaments, mostly one table at a time, I have probably played less than 5k games played across all sites I play on and I'm up $25K, I started with $50 on one site and spread some of my winnings to other sites and a couple sites I didn't make deposit at all, although one of those sites has been blacklisted for ripping players off ( HighStakesPoker<<blacklisted) and they took/ stole a couple thousand from me, but not before I was able to make a single withdrawal and squeeze a few hundred out of them.

Wow, I must REALLY suck!
Because I haven't felt that my AA all-in preflop odds have been far from standard deviation. Seems pretty much normal to me (which I guess obviously means that I SUCK... because if I was good, they wouldn't be holding up very often).

What about if you're like an average skilled player? Do they hold up ~ 70% (instead of 82%)? And what is an average player? Or a bit better than average player and how can we calculate this? (Do we just base it on how often the site is letting our AA hold up?).

I've been studying a fair bit and am thinking I'm improving a bit but at the same time I'm looking to get as many chips in the middle (preflop) with AA as I can. And now I'm not so sure if I'm doing this correctly:unsure:

My MTT results were pretty dismal (but sample size isn't that big) but more recently I'm in the +$$'s now for MTT's. Here I was thinking it was a reflection on my true ability but now I'm wondering if I've actually gotten worse and GG has been giving me a helping hand by upping the odds of my AA holding up.

Oh man!! I don't know what to do now.

I guess I'll keep playing on there until the site decides I've actually gotten better and has me start losing and then if I can catch in just in time, I'll stop playing on there & hopefully as a winner!

A hacker was caught at gg poker, a fact that was admitted by ggpoker itself, he was able to see all the opponent's cards, he won a lot of dollars, he won 47 thousand dollars in a tournament, before being caught, but who guarantees that there are no others hackers? How long have they been doing this? For me, GGpoker was already...

Stick to the dailies, with tight is right.
Don't overplay your AX hands especially the AX broadways.
Smaller straights seem to be more effective, as flushes are too.
Suited cards may be your friends(even not so connected) as all kind of pairs if they hit the top set.
But that is my personal view.

This isn't really accurate. He was able to see his odds of winning (percentage numbers). He did win a tournament for the $47k which seems to have been the final straw.

Who knows how many hackers there are elsewhere? Nobody. The criminals that get caught are the stupid ones (like the moneytaker guy on GG) that get greedy and/or sloppy.

Can an official wsop sponsor not be a fair room.I sometimes play freerolls there. Here the main emphasis is on fast poker and there are plenty of varieties offered for this: from regular spins to battle royale. This is one of the few networks that can afford to create its own poker software and employ a staff of developers to constantly keep it in working order and release regular updates.Experienced programmers say this is a lot of money.

I play tournaments included prizes but I couldn't get to the final table just played and won some money, but it's very hard to get to the final table. Crazy people play there who don't care about their own cards and fly and bet all their money just to play, they don't care what kind of cards they have hard to win

I had that a dosent times as well. I even logged my connection and had connections to other providers running. Ggpoker buggs out. Everything else keeps running and GGPoker keeps blaming my setupt. It's hilarious.

You should try the T$ builder games, they are rake free and a good way to start building a roll on GG.
