Intertops Poker Legit?

Hey i was on deuces cracked and watched some videos and noticed that the coach was 4 tabling on intertops poker. I was wondering is this a reliable site and i would like to know if this was available for US players to play on. Thanks for the your advice.

Intertops is a very respectable sportsbook and poker room. They have been in business for a long time. They went online in 1996. Now the part about not allowing new USA members is mainly true. Unless you get an invite you cannot sign up. Getting an invite now a days is not easy.

Intertops is the best run room on Revolution. Unfortunately, thanks to Lock nearly bankrupting the network leading to player pool fragmentation and segregation, player liquidity is pretty bad. It's been my only room for the past year or so since Lock quit paying out, but now traffic is a trickle. At least my choice of DON's usually filled enough to keep 6-8 tables going pretty regularly. But Sunday night when I was online last, there were <1000 players on. I played and finished one 6-max DON while the others I had registered for were still only half filled. Regular SNGs virtually never fill, at least not at the stakes I play. I really hope they can recover from the damage Lock inflicted, because I love the room.

As said though, no new US players without a VIP invitation.

I have slowly built a small BR there but its hard to get anything going esp since the tournies are junk now unless you have a decent sized BR or dont use good BRM

It's a good room and intertops has been around forever- just need an invite

you need an invite if your a US player but that doesnt guarantee that you will be approved. theres an extra step now probably because of lock lol

Huh, y'know as an American player I hadn't even they don't accept new US players. Seems like I lucked out when I opened an account with them shortly I became a member with CC.

I’m most likely going to a normal poker room than I’m not sure where I play.

I used to play there before player segregation occurred. They had a pretty good tournament schedule, plenty of Sit & Go action, and cash games being played at all levels. Once all the sites segregated, most of the player pool dried up. The tournament schedule was thinned, freezeouts pretty disappeared in favor of rebuy/add on and re-entry tournaments, which I'm not the biggest fan of. That's what kind of drove me away. But as far as being legit, sure.

Is there much action on the site though? From what I understand there's not a ton of games to choose from?

Which is pretty important for grinding.... although it also means some juicy overlay tourneys can probably be found on the regular!
