It seems like you need to rake more than a penny now (it takes a few hands now of playing micro cash) but they are also throwing in some bigger prizes occasionally (I've received 3x $10 Spins tickets recently, one of them I hit a 10x multiplier with it and won ($80, 2nd got $20)

So for myself, it's actually better than it was before.

That did not happen with me. I still have cash prizes as well as spins. But in order the win the cash ones, you need 3 hits.

I thought you meant the $0.50 SPINS ticket you get each day on Stars for raking next to nothing (as in 'Spin 'n Go'). I don't play any casino games online, never accept a bonus, never spin anything. Strictly pokerzz.

It is a little strange, that sites are not allowed to offer us freerolls, since they are a way for people with a gambling addiction to play without risking their own money. But apart from that I do kind of understand the policy. Incentives are obviously made to make people log on and play more often, so banning them is just as logical as for instance banning tobacco advertising.

It just sucks for us, that other countries dont have the same policy. Because as you say, it means, that sites spend our rake money on incentives in other markets, and therefore we are not competing on equal terms. But at least PokerStars is a safe place to play, and withdrawals are fast and very easy, since they are made to our bank accounts. Which certainly beats having to muck around with crypto currency

But they ARE FREE, I suspect they're trying to get people to play in the casino, like getting them hooked, but you spin and you get out, no one will force you to play anything you don't want to.

You don't have to play in the Casino. Just click on the Casino tab and you'll see your free spin for the day. If you win something, is yours, no strings attached.

I am still getting the chance to win cash but only once did I win. It was 2 dollars and it was canuck money so about 1.50 US.

I guess it had never looked like this for me, because I got that it's hard not to notice this spin. Now I see that via the desktop version I can't access the casino tab, it's just a black screen or an error (has to do with the providers block), and in the mobile version I don't have anything similar So no luck then.

Maybe u excluded urself in the past from casino games? Check this in ur settings. I think its under responsible gaming.

Thanks, it actually made me think, because I definitely clicked something about casino games, once they were introduced on PS. It was advised by other players back then, I just now don't precisely recall what it was.

But now I don't have any restrictions under responsible gambling, and I can see casino via the mobile client, so I guess, the absence of the wheel has nothing to do with whatever I clicked back then.

Sorry, I didn't articulate myself well: I meant that in the mobile version I don't see anything similar to this wheel only, I see casino there.
