I've read all the posts untill here and it is funny how a lot of serious guys belive that thing can be done and how they think that some real deal dealer can shuffle the cards better than a computer. Never in his life. If a card has a small piece of dust on it it is not random anymore. And filming 5k tables at the same moment is a joke that i cannot laugh at because it is bad joke. I just wanna see who pays 10 milions a mounth 5k dealers(chinesse or indian dealers to be cheap) and who buys cameras ,tables, sits , etc etc whatever crosses your minds for 2-3 million dollars.
Maybe they can make this like an event ones a year for 100-200 tables tournament for the online poker players for a buy-in of 10k-20k dollars. And still they would have a lot of problems. Imagine a broken camera or more .

Get real ppl. This is just a bad joke .

Ok...
@OZ I didn't say I believed it would eliminate bots but it is what THEY said! whether it's true or not(and probably not) I didn't know since I don't major in CCE and I didn't give it full thought at first...

I've been checking it out and it seems to be the greatest thing to ever happen for poker players! Instead of using Rng(Random number generators) like any other site around, they use a real deck with usage of burn cards which is shuffled and filmed! then the player in dealer position gets to choose whether to cut or no just like in real poker and this helps to avoid bots...

what's dumb about feeling as though you're in a real casino while you're at home and getting rid of all the "I was cheated" lines?

Sorry, guess "I've been checking it out and it seems to be the greatest thing to ever happen for poker players" has changed meanings or something - your responses so far indicate that you think this site will be a good thing, that you believe the claims about removing bots, that you believe it will provide a "real casino" experience and that you believe it'll satisfy the rigtards.

If that's not what you meant or if you're distancing yourself from those statements now then it's all good I guess :p

Plus Dorkus is right, the rigtards will still claim it's rigged and lulz will ensue. For extra lulz I'd really like to hear the site's answers to some of the questions I asked - specifically what they're planning on charging in rake since their system is clearly way way more expensive to operate than anyone else's.

I read all the posts but i saw the videos after that. I thought first that the ideea of a shuffle machine was just an exageration and they will use real ppl cose is cheaper. But after seeing the machine i think the ideea is much dumber than i thought and that will cost more than i thought first. I work in authomatics and i know how higly expensive to mentain and how much space this kind of machines takes and how much they are affected of a piece of dust on a card. More that an indian or a chinesse shuffleing the deck. Also i know that to randomly shuffle cards of the same dimensions and weight with a device you need a computer with random number generator algorithm to do that :D. Also i do not see why we need to cut a deck shuffled by a machine when the cutting option was invented specialy to prevent less human interference and now having an algorithm that generates a series of random numbers by a computer we want to be sure it is much random. I am a beginner , i have a 0 bankroll cose i play bad poker but i never doubted the algorithm and never will.
But the basic ideea are the costs. Never gonna happen . Is like the ideas of Kramer from Seinfeld.
I do think that machine is good for live tournaments even if it is not as estetic as a dealer and it makes noise like a printer.

Hey!Has anyone heard of Real Deal Poker around here?

I've been checking it out and it seems to be the greatest thing to ever happen for poker players! Instead of using Rng(Random number generators) like any other site around, they use a real deck with usage of burn cards which is shuffled and filmed! then the player in dealer position gets to choose whether to cut or no just like in real poker and this helps to avoid bots...

They say they want to make "live poker online" as opposed to "online poker" we all see and maybe this will stop all the rigged poker topics lying around! It's supposed to launch on the 10th of march and I hope they don't get problems from all the online poker sites around(No U.S players will limit these I hope).

Any thoughts on this breakthrough for internet poker?
I'm pretty happy about this and if you want more info check their site realdealpoker.com.
The cards should ALWAYS be cut!! But other than that people will still whine about it being rigged. People crying about online poker being rigged have not played enough live poker IMO, I see things playing live and think well theres a hand that would be considered rigged online. The only reason you see these type of hands online is becasue of the amount of hands being dealt. For instance pokerstars just ran their 40 billionth hand promotion, when it started it took only 7 hours to deal 17 million hands which is 2,428,571 hands per hour and 40,476 hand per minute.

The best "rigged" hand I seen live was 2 people getting AA and 2 getting KK and the KK hands winning with K high straights, if that hand were online I can't even imagine the threads people would be posting.

I remember a site something like this where they had a real dealer on cam and he would deal the game you just clicked on your screen to let him know what actions you wanted to take it's not around anymore but it was different :marchmell

Yep!It will be a good thing for me when all the fishies from the other sites will be playing at it.
NO I don't believe it will remove any bots!Damn it don't you read man?You even quoted the line where I said that I didn't give it full thought at first and that you were right! So enough of this crap!
Well, it will provide closer "real casino" experience than online since you're not playing 100 hands/hour and you're seeing real actual cards as opposed to figures.
As for satisfying the rigtards...AGAIN!I actually thought that they couldn't present any excuse on a site that gives so much trouble to prove it's not rigged...BUT THEN AGAIN, read my second post where I said that dorkus actually has a point there.
Do you have a grudge against me or something Oz? Or are you just choosing to ignore what I wrote and rewrote on that thread? For Christ's sake I even apologized for making this thing known to fish! What more could you want from me?

Also on Real Deal, If you feel like a certain hand was rigged or incorrect, you can pay 50 bucks for a third party auditor to come in and look at it, if your right, then they pay you triple the 50. Don't know exatcly how thats going to work but not a bad idea
