Exactly. And there is also a threashold, where if it takes to long for a game to fill, it wont fill at all, because players unregister again. Maybe they then jump into another SnG instead, but there is no point in having an SnG lobby full of games, that rarely if ever run. My only slight complaint about the changes is, that there are no more regular speed MTT SnGs left apart from a 25c and 1$ 18-45 man. It is a little sad, that everything has to be turbos, because it leave limited room for postflop play.

Its actually a deal breaker for me that those are all turbos. I wil continue to play most of my volume on other sites. Kind of sad because years ago i was a huge stars fan and played only there and would also recommend to only playing there. My laptop with 4gb ram is too bad to play more than 3 stars tables with this crappy aurora software anyway.

We cant entirely blaim Stars for this though, since the turbos are simply more popular. I just finished a short session playing 9-man KO SnGs, and I tried to get into a regular speed game, but it just did not fill. So I ended up deregistering from it and playing 11 turbos, because these are the ones, that actually fill and run.

Yes its kind of true. Turbos are especially attractive to recreational players who do not have too much time. And since the traffic is no more as high as years ago it kind of makes sense.

True but at least over the past 3-4 years SnG traffic seem to have declined way more than traffic in other formats like cash games or time scheduled tournaments. So it also seem to be a case of the format slowly going out of fashion across platforms. 888 Poker have also reduced their SnG offerings removing for instance all MTT SnGs and most of the DoNs.

I have made that kind of mistake. Typically happen, if I am multitabling and then also involved in some other activity at the same time. I then have the table pop up, see a junky hand, and instantly press "fold", so I can continue with, what else I am doing without noticing how short, I am. Hopefully I have never done it on a final table though
