I didnt even realize Carbon has Skrill option for withdrawal. I thought its has only bank transfer, checks etc, so I was ignoring that poker room.
I should check that again probably, Im lucky that I dont play from UK.

I think the regulations have changed again?
I got am email from Poker Heaven a couple of weeks ago that said that due to
new regulations from 1st Oct they would not be able to accept UK players and to withdraw any money I have before then.
I got another email from them yesterday saying due to a change in the regulations UK players will still be able to play on there.
I should imagine this will apply to all such sites, although i am not 100% it sounds hopefull.

The high court must of ruled in Gibraltar's favour then, WTG Gibraltar for standing up against the fecked up UK Government.

Crazy that they haven't logged me out yet. If I close the software tho I will then be blocked also. I wonder if I can reg for a game?

EDIT: I couldn't be bothered regging so I joined a cash game in play money and I am sitting at the table.

I sent an e-mail to [email protected] asking to withdraw my remaining balance of $201.50 now that they have exited the UK market.

(my last withdrawal was $1000 a few months ago to Neteller and since then they have removed the Neteller option and imposed the $500 min for Bank Wire Transfer)

The first (quick) reply was —
This is just a quick email to let you know that we are looking into your withdrawal issue. As soon as we have an update, we'll notify you. Please expect a reply within 24-48 hours, depending on volume.

A few hours later —
We require you to confirm if you would like for us to send you your remaining account balance via Bank wire, or if you will provide with a Skrill account number.

I've replied (Bank Wire) ... so we will see :)

Good luck samango. That sounds promising. Any idea what the charges are for bank wire ? Let us know how it goes. Think I'll email them too. It's only $34.30 but worth a try.

I definitely think you should and everyone else too — they shouldn't be keeping our money!

AFAIK the first withdrawal in a calendar year is free (except to e-wallets), then subsequent withdrawals have a 3% charge for bank wire, and debit card (if you have deposited by card) and 5% charge for all Skrill payments.
There will be some kind of exchange rate from USD to GBP but that is done by my bank when they receive the $

As I said I have verified and withdrawn already, so if you have never done this you will need to submit copies of Driving Licence, Utility bill (for address) and bank details if you take the Bank Wire route

This is the reply I got

Dear Sarah,
Thank you for contacting us.
This is a quick email in regards of your recent account inquiry, to inform you that unfortunately, player to player transfers are not allowed as this would go against our security policies. We're sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
Keep in mind that you have time till September 30th 2014 to use your gaming account.
Have a nice day, Sarah!
We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter. Your reference ID for this email is LTK17134013094864X; please quote this number in any further communication on this subject.
Kind regards,
Pam Stevens

Do you think they would send it to charity if I asked them? If not I will play some cash games too and hopefully TU so I can withdraw. I have 6 days to make a grand, now that would be nice.

Bummer for those of u who enjoy poker @ carbon.(hope u all get ur money)
Some of the replies I get from support are completely ludicrous!
Charity haha they might.
1st charity of choice their own pockets.

Well, I've just received my $34.30 from Carbon :)

On 2nd Oct I sent them this email...
"Hi Support, I am a UK player and you have just closed my account with only 6 days notice.
Can you please tell me how I can withdraw the money I have left in my account"

They said right away that they would sort it out and, after a few more emails back and forth,
I've just received it via my newly created Skrill account.

Nice one Carbon.

(For the record, I had never deposited at Carbon).
